Allergens NOT listed on all labels (Celiac)
Not Celiac disease safe, and the label made that misleading. The online label mentions barley, but the label I bought in store did not say barley. I got very sick after eating this. I should not have to look at a label in multiple places to find hidden allergens. If the label had said “with barley” then I could have avoided getting sick. It also did not taste very good.

1. This caramel doesn't taste like caramel and 2. It's 2025, do we really need red 40 and yellow 6 to color caramel.Get with the times! I usually make my own and somehow without dye, my caramel gets a caramel color! I picked this up because I needed a quick option! Thought Smuckers was a brand to trust. Never again!

Making Praline Dessert
This is a staple in our house. I cannot have chocolate with caffeine in the evening. My go to dessert is vanilla ice cream with pecan halves and Smucker’s caramel topping. (I’ve not tried the hot caramel yet since I love this one so much) It’s so good. It’s a perfect trio.

The spoonable version would be better used as an ice cream topping over the squeeze bottle. The flavor was a little too sweet for me but delicious nonetheless.

Taste and consistency was okay, more runny than I expected. Messier than the squeeze bottle version of course, but this seems great for baking or other recipes where you need a measured amount of caramel. Knocking off stars due to the fact that it’s primarily a corn syrup blend and there are better less-processed options out there. But could see this working in a pinch when those options are not available.

I made like a Sunday with fresh fruit and added the carmeal heated it up with melting swirls all over the ice-cream. Such a tasty treat.. it's thick. Creamy. And delicious.
