contains red dye and other chemicals
I bought this because it was sugar free. I neglected to read the label and upon purchasing it realize it is full of chemicals and toxins. It contains Red Dye 40, because I guess strawberries are not red enough, sucralose, polydextrose, malodextrin and a whole slew of other chemicals. I just wanted a sugar free natural jam. Unfortunately most of the food in this country is designed to poison us.

I called target customer service and spoke with Carlos regarding this item, which was purchased by a Shipt shopper and on the back there is a yellow and white tag which I believe means it is expired. It was also has a date on it prior to the one when it was delivered to me. Carlos gave me a refund for the $4.79 and then gave me a five dollar credit because of the issue, which doesn’t really help. It’s nice to have the money but I want the product and because I am disabled. I have everything delivered to me and now I cannot get the jellybecause I don’t drive and can’t get there and you guys won’t give it to me until I spend another $35, this is another terrible target experience. I am not answering the last three questions because they have nothing to do with the issue. I am going through.

Tastes great but would be better without Red 40
I really like this and it tastes great but I was so disappointed when I saw it has Red 40 in it. Aren’t strawberries red enough? Why the extra good color which isn’t good for anyone?

DON'T BUY
It tasted like chemicals and colored with red 40 to make it look like strawberry jam. Don’t fall for it. Read the ingredients, all of it chemicals that are bad for you. I made a mistake of thinking it’s real strawberry preserves without added sugars. Was wrong. Tastes like made in a chemical lab. Beware and don’t buy it if you care about your and your kids health.

Does not taste like strawberries
The only thing that reminds me of strawberries is the red dye 40. The flavor did not. I thought preserves had pieces of fruit but I could not find a single piece of strawberry. It did not taste good. According to healthline.com red dye 40 is a “synthetic color additive or food dye made from petroleum”. The flavor does remind me of that. I generally like smuckers but the sugar free options are worse than I cold have imagined.

It's sugar free, so yes, it's not as sweet. Duh.
I have been buying this for years. I much prefer this to the sickeningly sweet jams and jellies out there. It is remarkably good for only 5g carbs per serving. If you prefer something sweeter, you can always buy something with added sugar.

Gross.
Accidentally bought this. Disgusting. Why is there red 40 in a jam? So unnecessary. Also tasted so artificial it's disgusting. Made the mistake of thinking sugar free and no sugar ADDED were the same thing but there's like nasty artificial sweetener In here.

I like them
I pretty much like the sugar free products. I just wish it was cheaper and available in larger sizes. Also make the preserves resemble real preserves, not just jelly.
