This oil-free sunscreen is a lightweight sunscreen that's water-resistant for 80 minutes with a velvety texture that leaves skin hydrated and smooth. This facial and body sunscreen is formulated with exclusive Cell-Ox Shield technology that contains UVA/UVB filters and antioxidants. This La Roche-Posay sunscreen is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and is paraben-free.

Oily, heavy, does not absorb
I purchased this sunscreen about 6 months ago and have been using it steadily. My biggest issue with it is that it's actually oily. It does not absorb into my skin, and it leaves an oily residue if I touch it with my fingers. The other issue is that my face looks shiny all day. I apply my serums and moisturizer and allow them about 15 minutes for this to dry before applying sunscreen. However, my face continues to be shiny and oily throughout the day. I'm not a fan of it. The sunscreen feels heavy on my skin. Just for reference, I'm an Asian woman in my 50s with very good skin.

White cast, chalky, doesn’t absorb
Leaves white cast and won’t absorb. I was very disappointed. My face was white the whole day. And anytime I touched my face I got a whole bunch of white residue on my fingers. This stuff is chalky and just won’t absorb. I tried rubbing it in but it just created white smears that made it worse.

La Roche Posay SPF 50 cream protects very well against the sun, has a light formula, absorbs quickly and you don't have to worry about your skin being red from the sun.

Great Protection, But a Bit Irritating
I really like that the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Sunscreen Milk SPF 60 feels lightweight on the skin and provides strong sun protection. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which is a big plus. However, I noticed that it makes my eyes water a bit when it gets near them, which can be annoying. Overall, it’s effective and decent for daily use, but I wish it was gentler around the eyes. I’d give it 3 stars.

Lasts all day!
I love the light weight consistency of this sunscreen. It can be worn under makeup and you won’t even know it’s there. It does come out very white so you must rub in to avoid white cast. It is pricier than some other sunscreens but it works all day. It is very moisturizing too.

Works.. but there’s cons
I’ve been using this sunscreen for a while, and it definitely does its job when it comes to sun protection. The texture blends into my skin fairly well and it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, which I really appreciate. I feel confident that it’s protecting me from UV rays, and I haven’t had any issues with irritation. The one downside I’ve noticed is that it leaves visible white marks on my darker clothing, especially black tops. Even if I let it sink in before getting dressed, I still end up with streaks or patches where the sunscreen rubbed off. It’s not a dealbreaker since the protection is solid, but it’s something to keep in mind if you wear a lot of dark colors. Overall, great sunscreen for effectiveness, but not the most wardrobe-friendly.

Gentle Sunscreen
I’ve finally found the sunscreen that checks every box La Roche Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk SPF 60. The texture is dreamy, gliding on smooth, absorbs instantly, and leaves my skin with a soft, velvety finish. No greasy film, no heavy layer, and absolutely no white cast. It’s lightweight enough to wear under makeup, but still powerful with high SPF and broad spectrum protection. I can throw it on before a pool day, a hike, or just running errands and feel completely covered. What really makes this my go to is how gentle it is. I have sensitive, eczema prone skin, and this sunscreen has never caused irritation or breakouts. It’s fragrance free, water resistant, and it actually keeps my skin feeling hydrated while protecting it. Good sun protection skin
I use it every day because it has SPF 60. My skin is very sensitive when exposed to the sun and small brown spots will appear. That is also the reason why we should use sunscreen whenever we go out and apply it 15 minutes before you go out. The amount of cream should be enough for two knuckles of 2 fingers. However, the point I don't like is the smell and when applied on the skin, it will easily make the face oily and heavy. But I will also put it on the list of good sunscreens to protect the skin. Highly recommend for those who are thinking about finding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample from this brand, the coverage SPF is very good for office work. You do need to wait for at least 15 minutes and put it after moisturizer though. However it's too heavy and leave oily finish on my face (my face is already combination with Oily T-zone). It doesn't leave the cakey look though, and your skin looks more bouncy.

Burns eyes, leaves you greasy with white streaks in creases
Overpriced. I tried bc of the great reviews and I do like other products from this brand but for this price the product should not be burning your eyes so I don’t recommend for working out in hot weather. I have light skin, when you first apply there aren’t white streaks and leaves my skin really dewy, too dewy though for hot weather bc you end up looking glazed in a bad way, then settles into allllll my creases and leaves write lines everywhere and I feel like when I go into the sun my skin kinda burns? I could only see this product working for really fair skin in only mild weather while not doing any type of exercise, NO hot weather and not for anyone who sweats easily.

Protection and durability
Excellent product for sun protection,besides protecting your skin, it moisturizes and takes longer to need reapplying , and it lasts a long time because the little bit you use spreads over the skin very easily, because of its creamy texture.

Great product!
I’ve been using this sunscreen daily for the past few weeks and I’m really impressed. It has a smooth, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a white cast, even under makeup. It feels super lightweight, almost like a moisturizer, and doesn’t clog my pores or cause any breakouts. The protection is great. No sunburn here.

White residue does not absorb
I applied this sunscreen to cleansed skin without using any other skin product and it still left my skin with a white residue that did not absorb. It did not burn or irritate my eyes but you do feel and smell this sunscreen on your face. I don’t recommend if you are of a darker skin tone.
