A: Check the package because it seems the mostly cotton blend socks are now being replaced with a synthetic-only blend. 😬 I luckily found a cotton blend in store, but order online and they might send you polyester socks.

I finally found good socks for my preschooler! These are mostly breathable cotton, which is rare these days because other socks are usually polyester. The Medium fit is great for my son’s size 10Toddler foot. Previously he wore Cat & Jack socks which were good, but when he got to size 9.5-10, Cat & Jack just didn’t have any good options - they’re all super small or super big. But these Hanes socks are perfect! Cushy on the bottom, but not so much that they make shoes hard to get on. I’ll keep getting the next Hanes sizes as my son grows.

Bought the black socks for my 7 year old at the beginning of the school year, so they've seen about 7 months of heavy use. Pro: they've held up well. No holes, no stretching out. Con: after washing they get rough pilling all over the outside. Overall these are fine. The outside of the socks feels rough because of the pilling, but the inside feels fine so my kid will still wear them. I still took away one star for it though, because I would expect better quality for a "name brand".
