I thought the top piece was fully silicone but the side piece is hard plastic. My bad for not looking close enough but heads up for anyone else looking for something plastic free.

Not quite what I was hoping for.
I purchased something similar to this a few months ago from another company and my 17 no old granddaughter who is quite petite, couldn’t fit her hand into the opening to retrieve her snacks. This one looked like a better version of the snack holding cup as the idea makes great sense, but this one is not much better. The plastic pieces that cover the opening are a bit more flexible, but my granddaughter is still unable to retrieve her blueberries from the cup without my help pushing the plastic down and in, allowing the opening to be large enough for her fingers to grab what’s inside. She gets really frustrated when I use it. I was hoping it would enable her to be a more independent snacker but, it has not. I wouldn’t buy it again, nor would I encourage others to buy it.

I bought several different snack cups/containers but this one is my favorite because 1) it comes with an attached lid so i dont have to worry about losing the lid, or having snacks spilled out in my bag without lid (i dont know why i bought the snack catcher without the lid...) 2) it's stainless steel so i can use it for fruits 3) easy to clean! 4) toddler has no issues getting snacks from it and the flaps are gentle enough to not hurt his hands when he reaches in

I love that it’s not plastic. I was bummed because it came dented on the bottom but I’m too cheap to pay for the shipping back for a cup. I will say that some lint does stick to the silicone top but it does its job and again, it’s not plastic.

Great for toddler snacks

Best Snack Container Available
This is the best snack container available. It is very helpful that the lid twists off/on for easy cleaning and filling purposes. And the stay fresh lid is a must. The only issue I’ve encountered is that the stainless steel dents when your kid drops it on hard surfaces, but I still prefer stainless steel over plastic.
