Wriong sized holes in one chari

Hello, I have one chair that has the wrong sized holes in it to screw in the seat portion. Such a let down. My husband is trying to figure out how to glue it somehow.

These chairs are pretty. They are small. Somewhere between a kids chair and a small adult chair. I will probably return because the scale is wrong for my table. Nice wood though
