Exactly what I expected it to be, and possibly higher quality. That said, for longer periods of use you're going to want an extra cushion to go with it.

I absolutely love the way the chair looks and how easy it was to put together. When you're sitting on the chair, it is easy to adjust the levels from high to low. However, if you're NOT sitting on the chair and you attempt to change the height level with no weight on the seat, it goes all the way to the top and can detach easily. I wished there were a way to screw in the piston to the seating pad so that it doesn't have a risk of coming off. But when you're sitting on the chair with your full weight, you should be fine. Still, it's a safety risk, to me, which is why I only gave it three stars. I use it primarily as a stool to sit at my makeshift vanity and when doing hair and makeup. The design is sleek and reminds me of those doctor's stools, which is what I wanted.

This stool is perfect for my secretary desk. I love the way you can adjust the height. The seat is a little uncomfortable for long periods of sitting but it's just what I needed so I will live with it.

Just what I needed, and at the right price. Time from ordering to receipt was exceptional.
