great thick sock
these socks are great for comfort and thickness. I mainly use them for work cause I'm on my feet alot and work out doors moving and doing yard work. At the end of the day my feet feel more relaxed and less damp from thinner socks. plus the dark color doesn't show .

Online description does not match label in store
Like many guys, I've worn Hanes men's crew socks most of my life, but the quality deteriorated over time, heels now get a hole in them in 6 months, but after buying and returning multiple other brand socks from Amazon I got fed up and went to my local Target store so I could see and feel the socks myself before I bought them, bought a 6-pack of these and tried a pair out at home, very comfy and not slippery like the 3-pack of 80% cotton Hanes socks I bought at the same time so I could compare them - the 80% ones were so slippery it felt like they were coated with Teflon - they're getting returned because frankly they're too dangerous to walk around in the house w/o shoes. I stupidly ordered 3 more 6-packs of the good socks that evening, didn't notice that what's sold online is NOT the same sock they had in the store despite having identical names and descriptions. The online ones say "Material: 50% Cotton, 39% Polyester, 6% Rayon, 4% Rubber, 1% Spandex", but that's not what I bought in the store - that label says "Material: 48% Polyester. 43% Cotton, 6% Rayon, 2% Spandex, 1% Nylon" - there is no rubber in the store bought ones, 7% less cotton, and they don't have the double blue X X on the heel like the pics of the online ones show. This online mislabeling of material content is getting to ridiculous levels - Amazon is the absolute worst, never expected something similar from Target. I really like the ones I bought in the store (won't know how long they last for months) but will be returning the ones I ordered online as soon as they arrive, then I'll go to the store and buy 3 more packs of the ones I bought there.

These sock start disingrating after one day.
The picture I posted is after just one day of wear. They are pilling so bad they look like they are disintegrating. I washed them to see if it would put them back into shape but they got even worse. Without a doubt the worst socks I’ve ever had. If a Hanes company representative sees this review and my picture please comment with a way to contact you. I wasted $34+ on two packs these.
