Looks the part, but it's not lasting.

The bench is structurally very sturdy. The grey wood printed adhesive strips around the top of the bench started peeling after just two weeks. Not very practical for a shoe storage bench. Those strips seem faulty with virtually no adhesive. It makes the bench looks pretty unfinished with rough exposed edges without these adhesive strips. I would not recommend.

Great storage bench!

Great bench! We have had our bench for a year and it still looks and works perfect. It’s used in our entry and the seat storage space is used to hold and hide away our dogs stuff for quick access to leashes, collar, etc. and nice shoe storage below. Looks cute. Not solid wood, it’s an mdf product but I knew that going in reading the description. Still looks great. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy to put together and pretty sturdy, though I did use a power tool on a couple of sections even though instructions did not reccomend. I use this as a workout bench that doubles as furniture and so far I have no concerns. I am not sure how much the bottom shelf holds but right now I have about 30lbs on either edge. It bowed a bit when I set them in the center but so far I am enjoying this piece a lot.
