20ct Incandescent Outdoor String Lights G40 Clear Bulbs - Room Essentials™

I feel like they were better in the past. The lights are less warm as well. Bulbs are very finicky and always a handful stop working within a week or so.

I use them indoor and outdoor. The lighting is perfect for a nice glow on our patio and my daughter's playroom.

These are extremely okay. I have only used them indoors and about half the bulbs burnt out within a few months. No replacements are included and somehow Target manufactures and sells these lights but does not sell replacement bulbs?! (Unless you get them online through third party sellers which kinda doesn't count). I wouldn't buy them again, but I also think there are similarly crappy string lights out there that cost more so, meh.

A literal fire hazard!! Had to send an email to target and hopefully the manufacturer? I love the look of these lights and they were cheap (perfect!) I have been so happy using them regularly, even saved them from when they stopped working. See the attached images to show the BLACK RINGS they left on my wall exactly where the bulbs were hung. The rings were hot to the touch after unplugging. I almost didn’t believe it at first. Stupidly used them again, and it’s obvious it’s coming from the light strand. So happy I noticed this before anything happened. I can’t believe it and I’m disappointed, loved these lights :/

These lights are my economic go-to. They’re simple, easy to install and replace bulbs, and they last forever. I still have my original set from 6 or 7 years ago and despite being left up year-round outside in beating sun of Southern California, I really have only have had to change about half of the bulbs (mostly from physical damage, like wind and children, not shorting out/ wiring). I only had issues with wiring of one of the sets I bought recently (out of about 8 strands in the last 10 years) and Target replaced it, no questions asked. Not really sure why the other reviews are so terrible unless they had issues with breakage of glass bulbs but that’s a risk you take with the beauty and glow of glass string patio lights. But like I said- easy fix and well worth the price.

These are the CHEAPEST lights ever. They stopped working literally 5 seconds after plugging them in and I tried to change the fuse with the extra one that it came with an nothing. These are so NOT worth it.

Great lights for the price! I have these outdoor in Minnesota and they last over the winter! Do not install them with the bulbs attached or the lights will not work (I learned this the hard way..)

Beautiful for just a moment. Bulbs get extremely hot and I had 3 of these burn out after just a few weeks of using them. The other 3 strings I have burned out a day later! Definitely do not recommend for outdoor like we did, no idea if they’d do the same indoors but with how hot they get I’d use a lot of caution or just avoid altogether!

I have purchased these lights multiple times. If you even delicately bump one of these bulbs the whole string goes out. Replacing the bad bulb (if you can find it) doesn't help. These are a huge waste of money.

Do not buy these! Bulbs are terrible quality and 1/4 of them didn’t work right out of the box. As I hung them more went out! I got them on clearance and I’m still returning all 3 boxes.

Bulbs go out very quickly

Got two sets these lights for my dorm room and they were so cute, BUT the fuse went out after a month of having them. I loved them because they were great for soft lighting late at night, but the about 4 bulbs burnt out over the course of the time I had them before the whole thing went out. I would have loved to keep them, but I don't want to run into this problem again so I won't be getting more.

Bulbs lasted 1 months before going out. Does not come with any replacement bulbs.

I have purchased three sets of these and actively use all three sets. All sets were purchased at different times within the last one to four months. Though the design with the clip itself is great. I’ve had 21 bulbs of the 60 give out. Incredibly frustrated by this.

I bought 2 packs for my patio. I screwed all of the bulbs in and plugged them up, they stayed lit for about 10 seconds and went out. I returned them.

I purchased two strands and carefully screwed in each glass bulb. I plugged them in, they glowed, and then suddenly went out. This happened on both strands. I exchanged for two new boxes and the exact same thing happened! What a waste of time, given that I had to screw in each bulb!

Hazardous. I purchased these two days ago. As I hung them, a light blew out so I took them down because I wanted to return them the same day. As I did, one bulb exploded and little shards of glass shattered all over cutting my hand and creating a dangerous situation. Small delicate glass everywhere. I was able to clean it up but the way the glass exploded without even rough handling is horrible. Read the reviews. Don’t get this. It should be recalled.

This item is VERY FRAGILE! Not durable for outside. If you are looking for something outdoor or indoor that is durable DO NOT recommend this.

I have purchased THREE of these lights. One I plugged in and it just didn’t work. One lasted a month or so then i plugged it in and it stopped working. I purchased my third one and it plugged in and didn’t turn on. I had the old version of these in black and they were wonderful, never broke, didn’t screw on the bulbs. Bought the white ones and they just don’t work. Cheapened the product completely.
