Is Hanes quality slipping?
Previous purchases of Hanes socks have been made due to being one of the few companies offering > size 12 fits (I wear a size 14 shoes) & have always been of the highest quality. Unfortunately, my latest purchase of a 6-pack of X-Temp socks had two pair with flaws - one toe seam was incomplete & another sock had a hole in the fabric (both previous to wearing).

Hanes quality went down the tube.
I wore Hanes socks for years and they weren't tight around the calves and didn't turn sand paper rough after they were washed. Evidently they are made in a foreign country now and are terrible. Guess I will be shopping elsewhere. Used clothes store is going to receive the socks. I'm not sure s homeless person would want them they are so sorry any more.

These are not for big and tall men. We ordered the extend 12-14 size and honestly they are like a womens 8. The leg is so tight!!! The foot is so short!! Unusable. Returned them right away

Comfortable but Problematic
Love the socks but I have found them difficult to put on as there is very little give in the fabric. I hope the more that I wear them that the fabric will loosen making putting my socks on easier. Once I get them on, they are comfortable and supportive.

I typically wear a size 12 (13 depending on shoe brands) and my feet are pretty wide, so sometimes socks can be a little snugger than I'd like, so I was pretty happy to see the size for these socks being 12-14. Taking them out of the package, though, the socks looked no different than regular socks. In fact, they looked smaller. I decided to try them out anyways. surprisingly, they fit my feet okay. However, the socks go past my claves, which I am not fond of. For reference, I am 6', so not really that tall, but still feels like quite a jump from regular crew socks. I'll keep them as work socks, but I would have returned them had I've known they would cover my calves like that.

These socks are not for big and tall men. The ankle/calf part is so tight it looks like it’s more for a child’s leg. Definitely not for a large man with large calf’s.

Been wearing Hanes crew socks for decades. But now the fabric is so ridiculously thin on the upper part that you can see through them. Won’t be buying these again.

Not any wider than a normal sock
I bought these socks because my right leg is paralyzed and has massive amounts of nerve damage, so socks that are tight make my leg hurt more. These sucks are no wider than a normal pair of socks. So i wasted $30 on two packs of them. Why would they be "big and tall" but the same size around as a normal pair? If you have wide feet or legs don't buy these
