Disgusting taste.
It works well, but why does it have to taste like spoiled milk mixed with fruit punch? It’s so bad that I can’t even keep it down sometimes.

Mucinex tablets have been my go to for congestion for several years. However, I had never tried the liquid. I found this pair of treatments very effective at relieving my symptoms (congestion in sinuses, headache, cough). I also typically avoid combination medications because I don't want to take ingredients that I do not need. I found this was a good combination of symptom relievers. Also, Mucinex tablets sometimes keep me awake at night. The Nightshift did not seem to have this side effect (possibly because the Guaifenesin dose is smaller than in the tablets). The taste wasn't great, but then you don't want to make it inviting to kids. Overall, an effective product.

I believe this medicine works as well as any other cough syrup. I like how it’s packaged as a set, so you get nighttime relief as well as the maximum strength cough relief. One thing I don’t like is how even the nighttime is four hour dosing. I don’t know why they don’t make it 8 hours, so it lasts all night. The bottles are also fairly small so you may need more than one to last the duration of your illness. I do think the cough syrup helps suppress my coughing though.

Tis the season! Unfortunately, that means both my husband and I have come down with random colds/sinus issues. this stuff (especially the night time version) have helped us to feel comfortable while we rest. My symptoms dont disappear but they're definitely more manageable. I received this product at no cost, in exchange for an honest review.
