These can't really be done al dente. I cooked them a little bit longer and they taste like regular pasta. I love that I can eat pasta again and not have to deal with the pain of gluten or the blah taste of rice pasta. Also high in protein, iron and fiber.

If you’re not sure to eating lentil flour noodles, then I can see why would be surprised by the texture. I only like to use one-ingredient gluten free noodles, and these are seriously great! These will be my go-to’s going forward :)

This is impossible to cook - took way longer than the recommended 6-8 minutes for it to not be uncooked in the center. Flavor is fine once it’s cooked, but the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Awesome Gluten Free Protein Pasta
This is a great alternative to typical high carb pasta! I love that it is high in protein. After boiling water, I find that cooking it for, at the most, 7 minutes is perfect. I didn’t experience any graininess or mushiness. It is actually more on the firmer side. I don’t recommend cooking it longer. There is only 4 servings in this box compared to 8 that is usually the case with gluten inclusive pasta. Overall, it’s a great alternative pasta, but don’t expect it to cook like traditional pasta because it’s not traditional pasta.

Made sure to rinse really well after cooking and paired a smaller amount of pasta with lots of flavorful ingredients and thought it was pretty good. Does taste like lentils, so makes sense to use things that would go with lentils normally—tomato, garlic, green veggies, etc.
