Medium Liam Record Storage Console Cabinet Walnut - Crosley: Mid-Century Modern Vinyl Organizer, Open Shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shelf was a perfect addition to our sunroom. Assembly was fairly easy, and the shelf feels sturdy. We used it to store our rugs and mats, as well as magazines. The design is minimal and aesthetically pleasing. Some of our guests were already asking for the link of this shelf!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this piece difficult to assemble due to bad tolerances. Especially when adding the top, which utilizes dowels to align, however the dowels didn’t align well on my unit and I ended up shredding a dowel trying to get it in, then needing to resort to a mallet and a little bit of force. I ended up also needing to use the mallet to slide the side pieces into the base. Also couldn’t for the life of me get the rear support brackets in on the unit. All in all a big pain to assemble. I also don’t particularly trust this unit for my expensive turntable and receiver. I think it’s best suited to a beginner with a budget set up that is lighter weight and doesn’t plan to load it up with records. (My components alone weigh around 80 lbs, add in vinyl records and that’s easily over 150 lbs of weight stored on the unit) My other gripe with the unit is that it’s quite low, around knee height! I think, design wise if it was even 6 inches taller it would be more functional. We are going to use this of living room storage for inconsequential items. I have no plans to use it for its intended purpose for storing vinyl records, I don’t think it’s cut out for the job I’d require of it.

I had to really sit and think of ways to make the pieces fit without damaging anything. As you can see I decided to use it as a stand for my plants. It blends in well with the colors in my place. I’m just afraid of when we more it it may fall apart. It’s cute but not user friendly when it comes to assembling. The quality wasn’t as I thought it would be, a bit flimsy. It’s great for storage and for looks.

I expected someone of much better quality. Cheaply made and almost plastic-y. Feels like something out of a play set, definitely disappointed with this furniture. Was hoping for something of better quality for display
