Q: can seemed to stop working after being in use for 4 days. there is no light at all on led so don’t think batteries are dead. should this can work plugged in and with batteries in it?

Defective molding
It operates good but looks like there was a defect when molding the plastic.There is a hole and weight line in the plastic rim. At $330 dollars, I will be returning it. Otherwise In would have kept it. They should have someone doing QC on the final product

I purchased this because one of my trash cans stopped working. I got two and one works great. Not sure why one stopped working. We tried resetting it several times over the years but it was time to replace it. Hopefully this one will work as well as my older one.

I love the sensor and voice activation. I have found myself using it daily, and it’s a convenience you don’t know you’re missing until you have it. Great look in black! The only thing I could ask more of would be an offering in Black Stainless to match my Bosch appliances, but the straight black fits in well enough.

One thing--my townhouse community , like many others, demands that we use dark trash bags. i like your trash bag, but won't be buying them in the future since they are white.

Amazing
I have owned three different hands free garbage cans, but this blows the competition away. Yes it's a lot more expensive, but hopefully will have a longer life than the previous three. It's super quiet and I love the fact that I can talk to it which makes it perfect when your hands are covered in whatever cooking you are preparing. Thanks for a really nice garbage can.
