Good product with room for improvement.

Fan works great. 6-speed with remote makes it more complicated than need be, because the speeds are not that much different from each other. Standard 3 speed with a pull chain would have been fine. Also, light attachment/connection could be a little sturdier, very wiggly. Bulb is too dim and a total pain to install, because opening/reassembling the lantern style enclosure requires some creative tool use. My suggestions: 1. Get a brighter bulb, 60 Watt equivalent, if possible, and install it on a table. 2. Connect the light fixture to the fan, also on the table. 3. Connect the remote signal receiver also on the table. 4. Hang the fan onto the light/fan box and connect it to power. 5. Install fan blades last, so they are not in the way.
