52" Casa Vieja Retro Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light Kit LED Dimmable Remote Oil Rubbed Bronze Adjustable 5-Light for Living Room Kitchen

This fan is absolutely beautiful. The room it was purchased for was really dark so we needed a fan that would offer appropriate lighting. The position of the fan also needed to be slanted to accommodate the downrod. This fan delivered! The lighting is perfect. Because of the angle of the ceiling and depth of it, we had to purchase the slant kit and the longer rod from the original manufacturer, which set it up perfectly. The bronze finish was really elegant, too. The installation instructions were a little bit of a challenge to follow, but if you’ve installed ceiling fans before, you should be good to go. And If you’re looking for a really nice fan that is quiet, powerful and sleek in design, this is a good one.

I got it on sale, but I would have been very upset about the build quality had I paid full price. The blades are flimsy particle board that look like they belong on a $80 to $100 fan. The finish is nice and the funtionality seems good so far, pehaps a bit on the noisier side compared to some other fans I own. I kept it because I needed lots of light, and the five adjustable lamps are an uncommon feature on most fans.

I would like to say I fell in love with this fan quite a while ago, but did not order at that time. When the fan finally came back into stock, I ordered it. I am giving four stars because the directions are truly not very good. First of all, the directions indicate that this fan can be flush mounted. I would advise against this. The canopy is just barley big enough to go over the mount and trying to fit the wires and remote sensor into that small space is very difficult. We tried for two days and finally gave up. When we switched to a downrod mount, everything went much better. The directions do not indicate how to position the remote sensor in the canopy. Look at directions online to inform yourself before starting. Once you have gotten past the issues of installing the fan and light kit, the fan itself is lovely. Very quiet and I really appreciate being able to position the lights. You might want to change the lightbulbs that come with the light. They are four watts and give off a yellowish light. The sticker on the fixture says you can use up to a ten watts. I changed mine to 10 watt bulbs and a daylight bulb, but this is truly a personal preference.

So far so good, seems like a solid build

The fan and lamp unit are perfect for my new library. It compliments the new bookcases and the dim feature on the bulbs offers the perfect adjustments.

Love this fan. We love the look of the fan, the speed, and the brightness and adjustability of the lights. The living room where this fan was installed is very dark, and this brightens it up while cooling it off. Love the remote as well.
