Although the blades were a little more cherry in color than walnut, I still like the fan. My first dc motor which makes the motor part noticeably smaller and modern looking. Doesn't spin freely to a stop like traditional fans, stops rather quickly and starts quicker too. Nice fan

The fan motor painfully and loudly grinds itself to start after a clunky back and forth wobble. The manufacturer says it will move back and forth to start, I was unaware of this before purchasing. The fan is loud during operation as well, the motor grinds and tracks poorly. The balancing kit included barely sorts out the wobble. The $400 price tag is not worth it, our old $100 home depot fan operated quieter and more smoothly.I am hoping Lamps Plus corrects this, hopefully it is a defect and this is not normal operation.

We put this in our 3 season room, we like a midcentury modern look and this fan really fits the style. It works great too! Just love it!

This fan looks very nice. I was concerned about the look of the real wood blades, but it turns out the grain and color are high quality. The nickel on the motor is a little modern for the room it is in, but again, nice. The cap at the bottom of the blades could be better, hence 4 stars.
