No Predrilled holes, Kind of cheap
There are no predrilled holes as the "experts" say there are. Also the quality leaves something to be desired. We bought one 10 years ago, paid 50 dollars and looks so much better than this one. The only problem with the old one was that my husband used it to stretch his feet with his shoes on!!

Stylish Ottoman for bedroom
I love the dark color of the ottoman. It compliments the decor well in my master bedroom. My King sheets and bedspread fit nicely. The only thing that I did not like was screwing the legs into the base. One of them was a little off. Hopefully the manufacturer can correct this in the future. This was a great buy.

Looks nice, but assembly isn't the best
Looks good in our living room, not too big - not too small. The only thing I don't like is how the feet need to be attached. Each foot requires 3 long screws and the bottom of the ottoman does NOT have predrilled holes. So, you need to apply a lot of pressure to each screw to make sure it digs into the base. I had to take breaks between each foot installation because my hand was hurting. I literally have multiple blisters on the palm of my right hand...not cool! However, it looks nice, seems sturdy and I like the hinges on the lid. I would recommend this storage bench, but you may want to wear work gloves when you assemble the feet.

The ottoman is made really well. It looks way more expensive than it actually is. The hinges are perfect if you have kids because it stays open and can't slam shut so no little fingers will get hurt. The only complaint I have is that the color is more of a brownish red than a true red so it doesn't look exactly as it does online.

Nice ottoman. Perfect size for my living room. Enough storage for blankets, pillows, toys or many other items you don’t want your guests to see lying around the house.
