Item description online says both outer layers and fill are cotton. The outer layers are indeed, but the fill is 100% polyester. If you're fine with that, go ahead and order.

The softest blanket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so kindly gifted the Kantha Pick Stitch Coverlet from Lush Decor and I just love it! I was pleasantly surprised with the lightweight material and the overall softness of the blanket. It is perfect for layering on the bed. The chose the blush pink and love the soft shade. It also comes with matching shams for your pillows. I would highly recommend this quality blanket.

I got this bedding in white and absolutely love it. It’s so soft, washes well and is very durable. It’s great to use alone or layer with other bedding for the cooler months. I highly recommend!

Disappointed
I probably should have done my due diligence but this quilt does not fit an over sized king mattress. Very disappointing as I absolutely love the coverlet. It is a very pretty cotton/ linen , perfect for a farmhouse look but it is too small. I kept it am an using it folded on another bedspread. Such a struggle to get these companies to make the sets a few inches larger.

Dry clean only and it falls apart quickly with normal wear. The stitching is all pulled apart so the white string sticks out.

Do Not Buy this Quilt
I was really excited about about this quilt but within a few days the stitching was pulling out and within the first week it already had rips and tears. The fabric is so thin you can see through it, no durability. I wish I had returned it right away for a refund. I thought by paying more than I usually do for a quilt that I would be getting something to last, I was wrong. Do not buy this quilt.

King is a Queen
The first thing I noticed about this was that it is very thin-fine as I wanted a summer weight bed covering. Secondly, I checked the date tag and found it is “dry clean only”. Finally, I read the reviews-which I normally do first-and several buyers said it was too small for a king bed. I put it on the queen bed in the guest room and it seemed like it would be a good fit. Problem with that is you’ll have king sized shams. Will need to be returned.

Cheap not made well
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I purchased for a king bed it doesn’t even cover the mattress. It is about as thick as a flat sheet and all the sewing on the edges is coming lose. I will definitely be returning. It is not with 70 dollars I paid for it.

Muslin like softness so cozy
This is a very thin top quilt not thick! No batting (fluffy inside layer). I machine washed on delicate and dried with normal heat it washed well but the material has a loose weave and will likely deteriorate within a couple years or less depending on how often and roughly you wash it. I bought a king for my queen bed it’s perfect for a queen do not buy for a king it will be too small. That being said this is more of a top blanket but I love it. It’s very cozy and soft it’s like an adult baby swaddle softness. I layered it with a woven cotton blanket at night and it’s perfect! I only wish the backing fabric was sturdier but when it wears down maybe I’ll replace the backing because it’s so nice! Also it does not look “formal” on the bed unless it’s on top of a duvet it just isn’t full so the picture is deceiving it has no structure if it’s own it’s very limp looking almost so if you want a formal look this isn’t for you. The picture shows it on the bed with NO DUVET/comforter under it. Very different looking than the stock photo.

Strings pull out of quilt very easily
Unlike many of the review, I paid full price for this item. I liked the way that this looked, but its not built to withstand...every day life. The strings that weave through making the "stripes" are very loose and easily can get pulled out. I thought it would only happen once, but after a few days, there were all sorts of strings pulled through. It drove me nuts seeing it this way, and it wasn't something I could fix. Children or pets would destroy this in a matter of minutes.

Skip this dry clean only not a quilt
This is not at all a quilt. If you watch the video or read the reviews )that were almost all given a free blanket for promotion) you think it’s a cotton quilt. It is 2 very thin gauzy pieces of fabric stitched together with no batting that are dry clean only and is nothing like any other cotton quilt or coverlet I have ever purchased.
