Really poor quality
I suppose it is my mistake for not realizing Hanes makes 100% polyester socks, but these pilled and frayed after one use, not even one wash! My son wore them to school, came home and took his shoes off and there was loose threads and pilling everywhere. They don’t make it like they used to.

Something wrong with this batch. The thread is coming out after 1 wash (0 times worn). My son's other Hanes x-temp still going strong after over a year of hard use. The black Hanes crew socks I just got as well, the thread seems fine on them. I thought I was getting the same exact product but clearly not the case.

Not sure about these reviews saying they aren't made well. They have lasted well over a year and I'm only rebuying because my kid grew. They do kind of look frayed or pilly... on the inside of the sock. But the outside has never shown excessive wear. My 7yo specifically asked for the same ones, "but bigger." Picture is of a sock purchased a year ago.
