Great and easy for cooking
I used this to make jambalaya, because u didn’t have a meat shredder. This was a great addition and made the cooking process so much easier. Also the other reviews are complaining about bones and gristles like it’s not a part of the chicken? The yellow stuff is probably oil or fat resolidified since it is stored in the cooler section.

What happened?
I used to buy this to add to salads or pasta for convenience. Yes, it was dry but I still liked the taste. For the past month I've noticed yellow stuff on it and it has a runny liquid inside. I thought it was perhaps a few bad batches that they somehow kept in stock (this is frequently being sold in store way past the expiration date). I was wrong - it continues to be weird and I don't feel safe eating it.

I Have been buying this product for several months to make chicken salad, add to salads or sandwiches. Never had an issue with being too dry or not enough seasoning. Something changed. This product is now a slimy mess. I guess reviews saying it was too dry had an impact. If you want moist rotisserie chicken, just visit retailers that sell them. Will no longer buy this item from Target and I have found a better alternative some where else that offers the same convenience.
