Description
The clean lines and geometry of this upholstered bed make this a perfect addition to a modern bedroom. Fully upholstered and padded headboard feature simply stitched horizontal lines. Sideboards and footboard are also upholstered for a uniform, polished appeal. Support system consists of 6 perimeter legs, 4 cross beams plus center support legs that easily support up to 700 lbs. You will need a box spring or foundation with this bed frame. This bed ships in 1 box for easy transport and is backed by a 1 Year Warranty. Assembles in under 15 minutes and all hardware is conveniently zipped up on the back of the headboard.

Q: How much space is there under the bed? What’s the clearance?

A: This upholstered bed has a 3.5 inch clearance between the floor and the bottom of the upholstered sideboard/footboard. Between the floor and the bottom of the birch slats measures approximately 7 inches. We hope this helps, Katie!

Q: How is the measuring clearance for a 75" twin mattress fit to the made 81.5" bed frame.

A: The Length of 81.5” includes the depth of the headboard and footboard. The inner dimensions are 76” which is where the mattress would go.

Q: How much of the headboard is still visible? I know there aren't standard box spring/mattress dimensions, but my mattress is pretty think. I'd hate to buy this awesome bedframe, only to find out 3/4 of it is going to be covered up by mattress.

A: The distance from the top of the slat to the bottom of the headboard is 16 inches on the Luca Upholstered Bed. We recommend using a 10 or 12" mattress with a box spring or foundation.

This bed was super easy to assemble and it is sturdy. I am a small person and it took me about 40 min to put it all together. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived Saturday (scheduled for Monday).

Excellent Quality Bed
Beautiful in person. Easy to assemble. We bought this as an "emergency" purchase for our guest bedroom and didn't have time to shop in person. I had originally thought I would use it briefly, then replace it with a more substantial piece. However, this bed looks BETTER than any of the ones I have seen in my local furniture stores, it is sturdy and durable, and it is now a permanent addition to our home. It has a nice masculine appeal, but I think it would work in any type decor.
