It is basically oats and honey . I wanted to try something healthy and sugar free so i tried it last year and i am not a honey person so i didnot like it that much . I would rate it average

I really like it!
Very delicious! I eat one every morning after the gym. It’s a good side to your breakfast. I sometimes take one as a snack for work and school. I highly recommend.

Added soy!
I am so so so disappointed. This was the ONE type of breakfast/granola bar that I ate almost daily and now with the added soy it is off the list. WHY change it?? If people want more protein then eat some chicken or black beans. Why make a great food that doesn't need protein now full of fake artificial nutrition? You can do better!!

Disappointed in new recipe
The old version of this product was my absolute favorite. I ate them for breakfast every day and brought them everywhere for a quick snack. The new version is a disappointment, it lacks in taste, texture, and the new added ingredients are not something I would want to consume. As someone with food allergies who was a loyal customer, these new recipes are going to cause me to look elsewhere for a breakfast bar. As many people have said, you shouldn't fix what isn't broken. The old recipe was delicious and perfect as is, this new recipe misses the mark and I will no longer be purchasing them.

New Formula
I’ve been buying the Honey Oat breakfast bars for years and I loved them, but they recently changed their formula and now they don’t taste good. I plan to discontinue my purchase of Kind bars and I’ll start looking for a new breakfast bar. I’d love it if Kind would reconsider bringing back the old formula.

Changed recipe. Awful now + soy. Texture way off.
I just bought a restock of these. Been my absolute favorite for years. First noticed a very different, gritty sawdust like, dry texture. Thought it may just be an older bar -then came the horrible after taste. Looked at the lable, and said "contains soy" which was definitely an undesired change. Huge bummer. I'd rather they raised the price and kept the recipe the same if this is about cost. As it stands I'll never purchase this product again, and it weirdly makes me lose faith in a brand that was very trusted.

Beware New Formula
It's one thing to create a new product but, it's another to alter what already works! With other food allergies the Kind Honey Oat Breakfast bars were a regular staple for me and the only healthy bar I could eat. Now that you have added soy protein I can no longer eat these! If it's not broke, don't fix it!

New formula NOW CONTAINS SOY
New formula is loaded with soy, which I can't eat. Yet another great product—that filled a specific niche, i.e. no dairy + no soy—ruined by a company's desperation for a new product marketing angle ("high protein"). What a bummer. This was a daily staple.

The New Formula is Terrible
The new formula is terrible. The taste and texture are off, which make the breakfast bars uneatable. Had to throw the entire box in the garbage. The original breakfast bars were my go to almost every morning. Extremely disappointed with the new formula. You’ve lost a long time customer.

Very Disappointed in Kind
Why did you change a good thing? I will be returning these to the store and trying to find a new go to breakfast far. Kind really disappoints me! I wanted to avoid soy products when I originally switched to Kind, and now that has changed. Not the mention the horrible taste!

New Formula is Disgusting
Use to eat these practically every day. But with the new recipe that adds soy and takes away the brown rice flour the taste and texture is absolutely awful. If you liked these before the change then definitely stay away from new formula. It’s atrocious.

New Formula is very bad. One star taste & texture
Beware! The 'New Formula' ones are really bad. I could not believe how bad these are. I used to eat them every day. These used to be my 'go to' snacks. I am crushed now because I now need to find something else. The 'new formula' tastes like sand, of different texture ( harder) and grainy. Ewww. KIND management - please bring back the original classic formula.

New Recipe is Terrible
Stay away from the new version! The old version was great. The new updated change is really bad. Terrible texture, they are hard now - used to be soft. Don't taste good. My dog is not picky and he wouldn't eat a small piece. I literally threw the entire box in the trash. Very disappointing. They had such a great product.

Disappointed Celiac
I never write reviews, which should speak to how upset I am that I'm willing to do this. I'm celiac, I barely get snacks that I love, and the recipe change from the old squares to this has devastated me. The texture is off, it coats my tongue, the flavor is fine, but it's just not as good as the original. I don't plan on buying any more, and I've been pretty vocal about my distaste and disappointment with anyone who will listen, so I hope that the old ones come back, but these suck.

Protein bar not as good
My picky eating son used to LOVE these breakfast bars, but since the formula change to the protein version he will no longer eat them. They have a much grainier taste and tougher texture. I don't think they are terrible, like other reviewers, but beware that the product is noticeably different if you are used to the original. I wish they just offered both options vs. replacing one with the other.

NO ON THE NEW RECIPE
These have been my go to for years specifically because I have a soy allergy and the old recipe had no soy. These now taste like a grainy protein bar and I am so sad about it. The old recipe is so much better. I can no longer buy these with the changes.

BUYER BEWARE
I bought these bars thinking they were the same recipe as the ones I had previously bought for years - they’re not. These bars are so terrible that it made me nauseous. Please bring back the original recipe or at least improve this recipe so I can continue being a repeat customer.

Awful taste
The new flavor is awful. Too sweet and cinamony and very grainy. I won’t purchase any more. Going to throw these away.

New Formula flavor is overpowering
New Formula flavor is not what I wanted. I bought three boxes and now I’ll have to take them back. The texture changed and they have an overwhelming cinnamon taste to me. Can’t taste the honey or the oat. Guess I’ll have to go back to cereal.
