The Quaker Instant Oatmeal in Apple Cinnamon flavor has received mixed feedback from guests. While many appreciate its convenience and nostalgic taste, others express disappointment over recent changes in flavor and texture. Guests enjoy the quick preparation and the comforting aroma it brings to their mornings. However, concerns about excessive sweetness and artificial flavors have emerged, leading some to seek alternatives. Overall, it remains a popular choice for a quick breakfast option.

Please change it back!
I agree with the other reviews. I don't know why you would change something that was loved by so many for decades. Its not the same texture or taste. Close but those of us that grew up loving the original know the difference.

Flavor and texture has changed for the worse.
This has changed. Its gritty and flavor has bitter aftertaste. This was my all time favorite and it seems so off. It is inedible. Thought I had a bad box. Bought a new one and same thing. Recipe is different amd just tastes bad.

What have you done?
You have wrecked and excellent product! I have been eating the Apple & Cinnamon product from decades. I just opened a couple of packets, cooked it and thought "This has an odd look.." It tasted gritty and the oatmeal flakes looked more liked seeds. Lo and behold the oatmeal texture are like seeds. A Google search shows you changed the product and not for the better! I will be returning the remaining boxes and looking for a new breakfast. Sorry to see you go!

Little Cut up Pieces
I used to love Quaker Apples and Cinnamon oatmeal. However the last box i bought was so different from the prior box. It had just little cut up pieces of oat flakes, not the full flakes like they used to be. They taste different, and it's definitely gritty now. You ruined a good product for me, won't be purchasing any more of your products again. And not just oats. I threw away two newly purchased boxes it was so bad.

Recipe changed! Not the same terrible
This new version is disgusting gritty small pieces that don’t absorb in water or milk . You feel like you are eating uncooked oats in warm liquids. I have eaten this my whole life so I know how to obviously cook it. Even bought a different flavor thinking maybe it was a bad batch and it was the exact same way. Terrible

Changed!!! Gritty doesn’t cook
Please go back to how it use to be this new version is gritty, the oats don’t cook all the way and it’s like eating tiny pieces of uncooked oats in warm milk. Doesn’t get creamy and I sadly will not repurchase. I am 35 years old and have been eating this since I was a child. The recipe has changed and in the worst way

Disappointed
I was really looking forward to having oatmeal in the morning again, and opted for my one-time favorite of Apples & Cinnamon. Wow, was I ever disappointed: it had an "off" flavor, and way too sweet...not at all the way I remembered it.

25% saturated fat
What's with the increased saturated fat? The sugar content is bad enough, now the saturated dat is 25% per pouch. Good job contributing to heart disease and obese 'mericans. Do better.

Overall good; needs a tweak ingredients
Appreciate the short list of ingredients and no high fructose. Would be even better if they cut down on the sugar (I love sweet but this is too sweet) and got rid of the natural flavor (what is that anyway). The apple & cinnamon is enough flavor.

This product is not worth eating any more.
disgusting taste and texture! Too sweet to eat especially BREAKFAST! "Wha" Happened? I grew up enjoying the Quaker Instant Oatmeal all my life. I am very sad and have nothing for breakfast today since I had to throw your product in the garbage. Quaker needs a wake up call because the quality of the products sucks now. Quaker was the only name synonymous with oatmeal all these long years. What a pity how gross it now is.

Too much sugar and cinnamon
I know this is supposed to be apple cinnamon flavored, but the manufacturers went overboard to the point that it's difficult to stomach. Kind or Nature's Path make much better oatmeal that won't make you feel like you're giving yourself diabetes.

Artificial sweetened. Major tummy ache.
Don't eat this stuff. It tastes good, BUT it's sweetened with artificial sweetener which can cause tummy aches. It took me a few weeks to figure out what was giving me tummy aches, and lord behold it was this.

Has artificial sweetener sucralose not on Label
These companies should have to put exact ingredients in the products. Shouldn't have to go to web site to figure out what is in the food. Very disappointed in Quaker.

The best
For over a decade now this has been my favorite oatmeal. It’s a wonderful quick snack for work, it fills you up for hours and tastes great. Even with the inflation gouging of companies, I feel Quaker hasn’t raised their prices too much post pandemic. I love this stuff! 100/10

Tastes great
I love the convenience of the instant packs. It's quick to make and taste great. I love the apple cinnamon flavor and it even has tiny pieces of dried apple in it.
