Thin legs & assembling issues

This modern look table is supposed have an easy & straightforward assembly. But the base screw for one of the table legs was so hard to get in, so I had to remove the plastic part, screw it in using a wrench, and then put the plastic back on. It ended up not stayed on well. The one of the screws that connects the glass & legs can’t be screwed in either. Had to use the table without that screw, which makes this table even harder to move around & a bit wobbly.
