Steamed = Soggy Pan = Perfect Its not full of flavor, nor spicy. gotta remember it must be for all taste buds. [🙃]. Anyway, added a little coconut aminos it was perfect. 2nd bag I added Slap Ya mama seasoning for a kick and paired it with Jerk Chicken! I absolutely love this mix specially because its black and brown rice, much better.

Good with a the tiniest bit of effort
Recently discovered this and honestly it’s one of the better steam in a bag quick meals (with a little modification). As others have said: “It’s bland”…yes it’s a little bland so add some spices. “Comes out soggy”….really??? It’s a steam in bag so yes it’ll be soggy. Avoid sogginess by throwing it in a hot pan and toss for a minute or so and it comes out perfect.

So good! But the serving size?
I measure out everything i eat, and the serving size on the package says 1 cup, and that the whole bag has 3 servings. So i measured it out to eat and the whole bag was a little over a cup, barely. It was very good though, im just confused over the serving sizes.

Delicious! Bought this to have as a side with dinner one night, went back and bought more to have on hand. Sometimes I’ll just eat this for dinner since there’s so much. The only downside, can be dry when cooking but I’ll either add some pineapple juice (since there’s pineapple chunks mixed in) or some banana pepper juice (I’ve been on a banana pepper kick lately).

I toast tortillas and use this as a taco filling with ground meat or marinated tofu. I add hot sauce because it’s pretty bland.
