I am not usually a tote bag person for travel. I took this bag I had bought on a trip with fairly tight restrictions for carry on. I was SO pleasantly surprised at how much I could fit in but also, how the pockets & zippered compartments had a place for everything.. just right!!.. Bravo to the design team… I’m a convert.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is the perfect bag for laptop, lunch, purse, and lots of art supplies (and/or office needs). And it will be great for a weekend getaway with the extra space allowed by the zipper. I love how the shoulder straps are long enough and fit me just right. So many pockets for art supplies!

I used this bag for travel because it can fit under the seat; I carried my laptop, ereader, medications, water bottle, journal, and sundry items. I also use it for work. It is very roomy and all the pockets helps me stay organized. I wish it had an exterior bottle pocket, but I could fit one 20oz and one 12 oz bottle in the bag with room to spare. It is expandable, but so far I haven't needed to use that great feature. My one concern regards how much weight it can handle. One day at work, I carried a textbook and stack of papers (weighing at least 1 pound) in addition to my usual folder, novel, two water bottles, and pouch of personal items, and other sundry things. When I hung the bag from my shoulder, I heard a crack that could have been a thread breaking. The bag didn't fall apart, but I have noticed cracking on the straps where the two sides are sealed together. This can hold a lot, but I would not say it can carry a lot of heavy items. It could be an overnighter if what you're packing is clothing, not dumbbells. After using this bag twice a week for four months, I'm happy with how it has held up, despite the cracking on the handles. Also, my protein drink leaked inside and was able to wipe it off even after it had dried. Really pleased with this purchase. I bought the silver, and it's a nice mid-grey with a subtle shimmer, and it goes with everything.

I needed something that could act as a laptop bag and purse, so I don't feel like a pack mule going into the office everyday. This bag is exactly what I needed! It's cute and has plenty of room for everything I need for a day in the office. Having several of the little Baggallini organizer pouches and wallet, makes it really easy to move from my regular backpack to this tote! Has made my transition of going back to office a little easier. LOVE all my Baggalini's!

Holds more than I thought it would and is designed very thoughtfully, except for one feature: the handle straps. They’re very long and not adjustable. If I want to carry the bag in my hand, it drags on the ground. I don’t carry big totes like this on my shoulder, so the handles are useless for me. I can use the crossbody strap, but I may just cut off these handles. Or look for a different bag.

Baggallini never disappoints! I bought the overnight expandable laptop tote for my upcoming trip to Africa. I’ve been looking for just the right bag to use as my ‘personal carryon’ bag. This bag is perfect. The expandable feature and the many zippered and laptop sections will be ideal for keeping everything organized and at my fingertips. I purchased the eggplant color because it was less expensive! And again Baggallini didn’t disappoint in that area either. The color is beautiful. And I love that the lining is a light color… makes finding things so much easier.

This bag is a game changer, I’m very organized when it comes to travel!!! However this bag truly has a pocket for everything…AA’s required equipment, laptop&reading material, removable insert to use for individual countries monetary, or tip money, ID, and passport pockets!! PEOPLE it expands at the bottom, opens to accommodate more as you travel!! I use this bag for work ( flight attendant) I guarantee you I will purchase another one for fun travel!! A MUST for the Traveler in all of us!!! PSWould love to see one option for this tote in a fun print!!

I bought this a short while ago, but haven't used it yet. A friend had one and I was so impressed with how much room there was, all the pockets it has and the quality workmanship I had to have one. Love the eggplant color!

This Expandable Laptop Tote is very nice looking and well made. I love it however, I find it NOT a good daily computer bag if you are taking your computer back and forth to work or school every day. I have a large laptop that fits easily but will not be protected well. There is only one, thin, side cushion to protect your computer and little to no bottom support. I am keeping the bag but will not use it for my computer.

Wanted something that could fit both my work laptop and personal laptop, works great, easily fits both without unzipping the expansion panel. Great sue of space on the inside, I can fit lots of necessities but it never feels overstuffed.

Big enough to carry your laptop, magazines, books, etc. Easy access for purse, tickets, etc. Light weight easy to carry

I needed a bag that could hold two laptops, and this fits the bill. It also holds lots of files, clipboards, tablets, a binder. Extra spacious, and when I thought it could fit nothing else, I tried to squeeze in my water bottle, and it fit too! Looks professional, the two straps are very secure and fit over my shoulder. I plan to use this as an overnight bag l when I travel.

As an itinerant teacher I’m always looking n the look out for a great bag. This bag has lot of pockets and holds a lot so far. The straps are not cushioned and can dig into the skin when bag is heavy.

I was happy to see all the features and it can fit a 15"laptop. I am looking forward to using it on my next trip

This is my second such bag (the first one is still good after a few years, but I wanted an additional color). This bag fits my files, my folded tripod and my camera, together with all other daily necessities. It is very well divided—has pockets for everything: my laptop, iPad, iPhone, and more. The part that goes over a suitcase also has a zipped pocket that fits a passport perfectly. It is also light weight. Really the perfect bag!

Just bought this bag. I needed a bag with more compartments and versatility. It holds everything I need to go to the office or travel on a short trip. There's plenty of room. The bag is well designed and thought out.

I had purchased a few travel bags but none compared with this. Everything has a place and it's easy to carry in a couple different ways. For many years I used a Baggalini style bag that is no longer available but I'm happy to replace it with this.
