I tried for the first time and my skin was soooo smooth after using. My makeup went on super smoothly the next day as well. I like the simplistic packaging, but I do wish this were one step, instead of two. I tend to get a little impatient with skincare. I will say this is definitely effective though, and I can’t wait to see some of my acne marks fade a little more with the help of this kit.

You really get a lot in the jar. It will last forever. I love the scrub in step 1 and how it feels like it really removes dirt and impurities from my face. It also smells amazing, it’s orange zest smelling. Then you put the peel step 2 over top the scrub for a few minutes and rinse and it leaves my face feeling so smooth and clean. I would recommend this product. 5 stars!

Step 1 has gritty vitamin C crystals that require a gentle touch, while step 2 is a smooth gel that activates a warming sensation on the skin. The consistency feels thick at first, but it foams up nicely as the two steps mix together. During the cleansing process, it rinses off clean without leaving any heavy residue behind. In the immediate aftermath, my skin felt incredibly soft and my dullness was completety gone. However, I did notice some slight redness right after washing it off, which faded after about twenty minutes. It's an amazing exfoliator for rough skin, but definitely treat it with caution if your skin barrier is easily flushed.

Step 1 (with vitamin C crystals and peptides) exfoliates and helps polish the texture. Step 2 (with lactic acid and salicylic acid) provides chemical exfoliation to clean pores and soften stains. It has a light fragrance, easy to absorb to the skin when used; it can irritate sensitive skin if used very often, 1 time or 2 per week is usually enough. It’s worth it, you’ll have more shine, smoother texture, less visible pores and exfoliation at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not exaggerating when I say I did notice a difference within 1 week. After x2 uses in the first week my skin was smoother and my pores, which are normally large, were visibly smaller. The two-step process is extremely easy to do, and takes less than 5 minutes. You put the exfoliant crystals on first and massage for one minute, then you use the activation and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. The activator does make your skin feel warm as soon as you apply it. As soon as I rinse it off each time my skin feels like I just completely shaved it clean. Did I mention it also smells great due to the citrus? My only complaint is that the size of the box is pretty deceiving for what you actually get. I’m not sure if it’s because of the amount of text they needed to fit on the box, but I was still a little surprised how small each bottle was. I do think the exfoliant will go quite a ways though. I’m really happy with this product overall though and the way it has performed to give me brighter skin with smaller pores and a smooth texture.

When I first opened the (step 1) jar of the vitamin c & peptide resurfacing crystals, I couldn’t help but notice the refreshing citrus scent, it smelled so good! After applying the crystals, I applied (step 2) the lactic & salicylic acid activating gel, for 2-3 minutes. I love how quick and easy the resurfacing peel is to use. My pores looked smaller even after the first use, without any irritation to my skin. I can’t wait to see the difference a month will make after consistent use.

Step 1 gently exfoliates with fine crystals. Step 2 activates with a slight warming feeling with visible bubbles that makes it feel like it's really working. I leave it on for 2-3 minutes, and after rinsing, my skin feels so soft, cleaner and noticeably brighter. I even see my pores looking smaller right away. I use it 3 times a week, and my skin stays smooth, glowy and more even over time. Honestly I love it.

Hearing the word resurfacing makes me think burning and redness, which I experienced none of when using this product. It is a two-step peel, using an orange scented micro scrub as the 1st step. Don’t scrub it in though! The directions say not too, so I didn’t; I just gently applied. The second step is a clear liquid that when applied activates the scrub. It has a very pleasant warming sensation. I left the peel on for three minutes and then rinsed. I’ve used this product twice and I definitely think my pores look smaller. I haven’t noticed a difference in my skin texture, but I’ve also only used it twice. I think with extended use it will make a difference. Great product!

I’ve only used it 2 times as recommended and it leaves my skin so soft and I did not get an allergic reaction. This duo from philosophy has definitely been hitting the spot for me, and working super well. I used to use their old micro delivery resurfacing peel when it was in the one bottle, but now they have made it into two, an I actually really like it. I’ve used it every day since I’ve received it an my skin has been super glowy and super soft! The first thing you do is apply step one, which is kinda like a crystal mask. You apply it slowly to your damp face (make sure not to rub in) but in gentle circles all over. This delivers the vitamin c and peptide crystals to give your skin the amazing glow, while also softening. The second step is the activator, which is what you put on top of the crystals. It has the lactic acid and salicylic acid in it which exfoliates and gets rid of acne, clears your pores and helps with dark spots, hyperpigmentation, ect. It feels just like a gel a you apply it on top of the crystal mask you created on your face from step one and massage gentle for about a minute. Ugh once you rinse it off your skin feels SOOO good and looks amazing! Skincare and makeup apply like a dream afterwards, so this has definitely taken place of all of my other exfoliators in my collection haha. Theirs hardly any scent and doesn’t cause any breakout, rash, redness, ect. My skin loves this resurfacing peel!

It combines both a gentle skin exfoliation with chemical exfoliants, so it really helps refresh and renew my skin without feeling too harsh. I let it sit for 3 mins and then rinsed off with warm water, and was absolutely amazed at how soft, clean, and “new” my skin felt. It felt like layers of old skin were washed away!
