I got this as a birthday gift. So far I'm not disappointed in it just still trying to figure it out. So for now I'm putting fair in it till I can get all the settings figured out and when. It tells me I'm not connected but I feel some of the coolness. I have only tried the coolness for hot flashes and for 10 mins at a time.

Great product and so much so that I purchased a second one. The sensor side chipped on my first one but since it’s plastic and I was outside of my one year warranty l, I decided to purchase a new one in black this time. I decided that this would be perfect because now I’ll have a day and a night one but that’s not exactly true. The software for the app does not allow multiple devices which is a HUGE bummer and why I gave this a 3 star rating. I want to have a day one and a night one but due to the app making you remove the device every time you want to swap, this is a MAJOR inconvenience and the software needs updated to allow dual devices. Not to be used simultaneously but as a day vs night device. Come on Embr, you have to figure this out. Please

We're so excited that you liked Embr Wave enough to buy it twice! While we don't currently have support for multiple devices on our roadmap, we're adding your review to our request list and will let you know if that changes. In the meantime, an easy workaround (especially if you're primarily using one Wave at night) it to program your two favorite sessions to the device buttons using the Preset feature in the app. That way you won't have to open the app to access those modes when using your second Wave. Pro tip: You can even program both buttons to activate cooling sessions or both to activate warming sessions!

This is my 2nd Embr; I got the 1st one a couple of years ago but that was before I entered into the fresh hell that is perimenopause. I personally don’t have hot flashes. Yeah, no, they’re more akin to hanging out about 1/8 mile from the surface of the Sun! I’ve always ran on the warm side but now it’s like I’m on fire except for the constant sweat that pours down my face, & back, etc. You get the idea - I’m miserable. I’m putting a lot of hope on the little device, & I start Veozah tmro, so fingers crossed!

Amazing product. This device works real well! I use it in the cooling mode to stop the hot flashes and night sweats I get from taking prostate cancer therapy hormones. A simple test for you, when having a hot flash or night sweats, is to run cold water on the inside of one of your wrist for at least 30 seconds or a little longer untill your inside wrist feels to the touch. If your hot flashes and/or night sweats stop; then the Wave 2 should work for you, as it does for me. I wear mine on my right wrist as I wear a watch on my left.

My internal thermostat, after Lyme disease and because I have brain damage from it; is broken. This device has kept me from going to the hospital overheated and tricks my brain into thinking I am not as hot. This then, has managed to trick my brain to think I am not in dehydrated emergency mode. I was hoping it would help like this. Next is exercise now to see if my brain can handle the heat from exercising with it on. It is absolutely incredible! Thank you so much! You have my permission to use my review.

I've been using my wave for a few weeks. I wear it all the time. Especially overnight. I don't have night sweats anymore. I live where it's hot most of the year and my hot flash were ot of control. This devise has squelched the hot flashes.

I could not function without my Embr. I have to say when I first heard about Embr I was skeptical, but I was willing to try anything to stop the excessive sweating I experienced when I shopped, when I cooked, while sleeping, while taking a walk. It was so devastating I became so depressed. During these episodes my hair would soaked along with my face everywhere. It was so embarrassing and exhausting. Nothing helped until I received my Embr. At the beginning I thought this doesn't work but I kept wearing it and using it and soon I realized I could walk through a grocery store without becoming drenched with perspiration. It has changed my life. My husband noticed too it was working. I've told all my friends. My problem was not because of menopause. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. To combat these 2 autoimmune illnesses I have to have chemo like drugs. One of the side effects of the meds I need to control these illnesses, because RA and Lupus are not curable only treatable, is excessive sweating. I am so glad I found Embr. Thank you so much.

I have been using my device for around 3 weeks now but I found it to be effective from the very first time I put it on. I have only used the cooling feature so far as I suffer with hot flashes and it makes a significant difference. I don’t think it works in extremities but it doesn’t claim to keep you cool in all circumstances, so you might also need a fan on a very hot day. However, it definitely helps to minimise/eradicate my flushes during the day and night, even on a warm and sunny day. I love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone suffering with menopausal heat! Ps do follow the instructions and place it slightly higher than your wrist.
