My son broke out in severe hives after eating this. I don’t know what they put in this but it’s not good. He has had strawberries since he was 6 months and it has never been an issue.
The color is off from last purchase a few weeks earlier...

I have bought this spread many times, but the latest purchase has a different color from earlier ones. It is a lighter red - almost pinkish. Anyone else noticed this with their purchase? Has red dye been removed? The taste doesn’t seem much different, but the color is disconcerting. I would like to hear about this from the maker.

For one it has less sugar than other brands but it also has great taste. I feel it has to taste good even with less sugar. I add it to plain greek yogurt; peanut butter and jelly sandwiches; buttered toast and strawberry cheesecake inside the batter. Many uses for all their fruit spreads.

Never have I had to deal with moldy jam spread!! We love eating our pb&j. However beware this molds FAST!! so make sure you eat it and not have it sit in your fridge. We bought it march 5th and it was moldy!

This is the first time we’ve ever tried this fruit spread. My daughter had it on her morning toast. Almost immediately, she was broken out in a red rash all over. Thank goodness I gave it to her with her breakfast, so it was easy to pinpoint the problem. She eats the same breakfast every day. The only thing that was different was this fruit spread. She’s not allergic to strawberries, or sugar, so something else in this spread got to her. What’s hiding in here?

I’d like to argue this is one of the BEST jams in the market. Beats the fancy jams at Whole Foods. It’s yummy, not overly sweet and a good taste of strawberry. You won’t be disappointed.

First time purchasing (two, different flavors). When I pulled them from the cabinet at home, I noticed the first jar opened WAY too easily. I looked inside and it didn't look right with what appeared to be a string of mold. Opened the second jar and it was moldy. I don't think either jar was sealed in the factory, or someone opened them on the shelf. Absolutely gross. Have to drive 15 miles back to Target to return. Where I live, 15 miles equals 45 minutes. Not great.

I have been a Crofters jam fan for a while now. It is lower on the sugar level than competitors while still tasting good. I am pretty sure this is repackaged Crofters Strawberry Organic. Same consistency, color, nutrient values, ingredients, both products of Canada and certified organic by the same company. Only difference is the Good and Gather is 1oz smaller. Good to have another option since I only buy Crofters on sale.

I've purchased this product in the past, and it's been tasty. Unfortunately, I discovered mold growth on the top of a brand new jar (that was far from being expired) this last time.

I don’t eat peanut butter and jelly very often but I opened this jar recently enough to believe it was fresh and as soon as I opened it there was a one inch diameter circle of mold right in the center of it. I’ve never ever had any jelly do that literally ever even eating it sparingly. Will probably just learn how to make my own from here on out.
