[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hurricane vase by Room Essentials is a nice basic piece if you are looking for a candle holder, vase, or filler holder. I needed something to hold an oversized candle I already had and this fit the bill perfectly. When it arrived, it looked like there were some scratched on it, but I washed it and it came out fine. This is a no frills, simple, versatile vase. I could use it for flowers if needed. For the price I like that it can be used for many things. I received an incentive to write this review.

It’s sturdy, thick and is the perfect addition to any mantle or any decor with it’s simplicity. I prefer battery operated candles but this would be safe with a real candle also. If using a real lit candle, make sure to read the safety label on the bottom as it clearly states to use a 4 inch by 7 inch candle only, it will get hot so place on a temperature safe surface and don’t let the wax pool at the bottom. I think this holder would look great on a kitchen table centerpiece or a shelf. A variety of different sized candles can fit inside of this holder, due to its size. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this glass hurricane container. It is a great size, and it was actually bigger than I thought it would be. The glass container itself is pretty heavy and it is fantastic quality. I only purchased one of these for now, so I will be using it as a centerpiece. I’m not sure what I will put inside of it yet, but I thought it looked really cool with the plastic lemons for spring time or I may purchase a giant pillar candle for it.
