A: I don't think this is gluten free with the oats. I've been using this on my face the last couple of days, not realizing it contained oats and I'm have cross contamination symptoms.

This cleanser felt very hydrating while washing but as soon as I rinsed it off and started to pat dry my face, my face became increasingly tight and dry feeling. I stopped using it after a week.

Second time buying this! Powerful enough to cleanse mascara, makeup residue in a double cleanse, and still by hydrating. Great value as the bottle lasted at least 6 months and was used daily by two adults.

I've had to be very picky about my cleansers since I can remember using them because i have dry, sensitive, reactive, acne and FA prone skin, and I've only ever found just a couple that have worked for me (vanicream, elta md oil-gel and bioderma miscellar). i didn't really like or enjoy either the vanicream or the elta md -the former being too dry and latter an odd texture/not really cleansing. Fast forward to today, I have the gleanser IT IS PERFECTION - it's literally everything i've ever wanted, my skin doesn't hate it at all, it actually cleans without stripping which is something a lot of brands say their cleansers will do but its very often not the case in reality. I'm so happy this exits, please never discontinue ! ps someone on reddit said the texture is like lube and i 100% agree

I was excited to try this initially I loved it and it felt nice. However I noticed that as time went on my skin started to get irritated and more inflamed when I used this. For reference I do have dry, sensitive, Acne prone skin i also have rosacea. The only ingredient that I know causes me irritation is aloe leaf juice/ extract and this product unfortunately does have this so I couldn't use it. Instead of throwing it away I repurposed it and use it as a shave gel and it works wonders. If anyone else has sensitive skin and can't tolerate this on the face consider using it as a shave gel!!

This Prequel Gleanser is absolutely amazing! It has a jelly like texture that is clear and non fragrant. I use the Gleanser in the AM & PM and it’s so comforting to my sensitive skin. Foams up gently and cleanses well without stripping your skin of its protective barrier. The Gleanser makes an exceptional body wash and hand soap, especially in the cold winter months. The size and price cannot be beat and I am so pleased that they came out with a travel sized option. My skin has never looked or felt better since I switched over to this cleanser!

Really like this cleanser! I was honestly not sure if I would like this product, but the suggestion that it would be good for rosacea caught my attention. I even have good luck with it removing most of my waterproof mascara and doesn't dry out my skin.

I love a gel cleanser but never found one that doesn't strip the skin making me feel dry immediately after, until I found this one. And it lasts forever! Plus it removes the eye make up as well so I don't really feel the need for a second cleanse. Just back visiting the US and had to stock up on my favorite cleanser :)

One of the only cleansers I’ve ever used that doesn’t dry out my skin. I use it as a face and body wash, and I’ve noticed significantly less itchy, dry skin on my legs, face, and chest. I love that it doesn’t have a fragrance (that I can’t detect) and that my skin doesn’t feel stripped of moisture once I rinse it off.

My skin is so dry it overproduces oil but hydrating cleansers are usually too slimy and makes my face feel sticky. This is the perfect middle where it hydrates my skin enough while leaving it feeling clean after. I always double cleanse with a balm first, then prequel, then wipe my face with toner on cotton after to be sure.

This is my all time favorite cleanser. My skin is super sensitive so it's usually pretty difficult to find something that doesn't make me break out or have a reaction to or make my skin feel weird. This is so refreshing on my skin. My skin is also naturally pretty oily but this doesn't make it more oily or anything like that. I'm also currently on accutane and this makes my super dry skin feel great and healthy. It's also a great amount of product for the price point and the bottle and pump work really well.

I have been using this for months but I'm on the lookout now for a new Cleanser. While it *can make your face feel hydrated I have consistently broken out and it Burns my skin on contact if I have any scratch or broken skin. It has also made me feel tight and dry at times as well. I typically double cleanse with the Prequel oil and the Gleanser. Just bummed.

I have rosacea and I was looking for a facial cleanser that wouldn't irritate my skin. Even though I was using cleansers for sensitive and even rosacea-prone skin, they were still irritating. This cleanser is endorsed by the National Rosacea Society as being safe for rosacea sufferers, so I decided to give it a try. It's perfect for my skin! It cleanses without drying or stripping. It even washes off my makeup and waterproof mascara, eliminating the need for makeup remover (and possible irritant). It's also a good value, as one pump is enough to thoroughly cleanse my face.
