A: I don't think this is gluten free with the oats. I've been using this on my face the last couple of days, not realizing it contained oats and I'm have cross contamination symptoms.

When I first saw this product before I used it I was like "do we really need a new word for cleanser?" But now I get it. I am a GLEANSER convert! The glycerin just provides such amazing slip so you can use elegant motions with your hands to get an effective cleansing experience. You can actually control how much it foams, whether you want a pillowy foam experience or just wanna slip-n-slide. The glycerin is SO AMAZING, it cleanses yet moisturizes and just leaves my skin less reactive, calmer, brighter, and ready for skincare. I love the glam packaging, it looks great as a decor piece in my bathroom. I have eliminated TWO cleansers since using the gleanser because it over performs so well, and now there is only 1 other cleanser that I like to use, which coincidentally Dr. Sam Ellis uses as well.

Absolute favorite cleanser
Manages to be both actively hydrating (not just less drying) and not leave a film. Like genuinely if my face feels dry and tight it feels normal after washing my face with this. Worked great when my skin was combination type, would highly recommend if you have combination skin and are struggling to find a cleanser that is strong enough for oilier areas of skin but not harsh on dry skin. Still works great even with my dry skin now. I would say it will probably work for most skin type excepts very oily or very dry. Can be worked up to a very silky borderline creamy lather, but it’s such a gentle lather that if you don’t like foaming cleansers you’ll probably still like this, and you probably won’t like it if you like super bubbly foamy cleansers. Inexpensive and the bottle is big, should last you months.

This is now a new staple in my skin care routine
Ive been eyeing this cleanser and finally purchased. I usually use makeup remover for my mascara. With this cleanser there was no need, it completely removed my makeup. It didn’t strip my face of moisture and leave it all dry. Will definitely be repurchasing, I’m in love.

I have very sensitive skin and needed a face wash and I’ve been eyeing this. Got it today and used it after my shower tonight and my skin is insanely irritated. Apparently I’m having an allergic reaction to it so I’ll be returning it tomorrow and opting for LaRoche Posay again.

Not ideal for the face
This is great for a body wash and shaving gel but the consistency feels like build up on your face. I broke out pretty badly after using this paired with the AM/PM moisturizer. Now I just use it as a hydrating shaving gel or bath soap.

Hated it so much
This was the most drying cleanser I’ve used in forever! At the same time I feel a sticky film that won’t rinse off. I hated the experience so much that I won’t try it a second time. I’m stunned because I expected it to be soothing and thought that I’d love it based on positive feedback. Maybe it’s just me. I have mature, combo/dry skin.

Gentle facial cleanser, GREAT body cleanser
The texture of this is gooey and that can be annoying especially if you’re trying to rinse it away but it’s super moisturizing. I use it as morning a cleanse and occasionally as my evening second cleanse when I think my skin needs a little more moisture. But I love it as a second (or third) body cleanser. Stripping first cleanse then gently exfoliate then finish off with the gleanser on an exfoliating glove to add back and retain the moisture and oolala.
