  • A: Hello, For raised beds, we suggest selecting a low-profile mattress between 5" and 8" thick to ensure the safety rail height is optimized. The top bunk bed uses a standard twin-size mattress, and the bottom bunk uses a standard full-size mattress. The trundle fits a standard twin-size mattress no more than 5 inches thick. Best regards,

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bed, fairly simple to put together as well. Took my husband and I maybe a couple hours at most, and that was with toddlers “helping” lol. Would be nice if the ladder had grips on it, not just the grooves, and I’d love if the top bunk had higher guard rails. But, I knew these things before purchase. We were able to fit an 8” inch full mattress on the bottom bunk which is nice.

    Okay product for price. Not packaged very well. Needed to order one replacement piece but other pieces had small damages as well. Guardrail piece was very warped so it doesn't fit tight. Hole covers were either too big or too small. The pre-drilled holes for screws in the trudle aligned with gaps in the frame. And guardrail post didn't align with mattress boards. Was able to overcome these issues but disappointed with the design details. Not sure how this passed any kind of QA.

    Well Built, Nice Finish, Durable, Extremely Pleased

    We are extremely pleased with this bed. The specifications rate each platform supporting twice the weight or more than other beds we considered, and it shows. It is solid wood with a very nice finish, well engineered and stable, and very attractive. Assembly was not difficult, once we got started following the pictorial directions. I found a metric ruler to be quite helpful in determining which bolts, screws, etc to use during assembly. 5 Stars. Thank you Max & Lily!

    Beautiful Sturdy Bed

    Very well made sturdy bed. Assembly was very easy. It does take a little time to put it together. Four stars because there were some knicks in the wood and the paint is very thin. Would definitely buy again.
