Why do most electric throws have the power control so close to the foot end of the blanket that you can’t have it “at hand” to control temperature and/or turn on and off? Only plus side is that it is soft pleasant material.

I ordered this because it was a lovely deep green color, and what I received is a pale sage, almost gray. The blanket works fine, but I'm super disappointed in the color. It is really nice quality and so comfy and soft. It heats up quickly but doesn’t get overheated which is nice. I use it at night and when I’m working and it’s been so nice to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blanket is amazing! It’s large enough for my kids to share and snuggle with me and keeps us comfortably warm. It comes with a generously long cord in case you have out of reach outlets. The remote control is a great feature too. Blanket heats up quickly in about 1-2 minutes. One side of the blanket is Sherpa while the other is velvet in beautiful sage green. I like how it’s machine washable by simply detaching the heating controller.

It’s super soft velvet on one side, and even softer Sherpa on the opposite side. Nice long cord for hard to reach outlets, and an easy remote trigger with simple settings. Heats up quickly in about a minute. I just haven’t figured out how to wash it yet, or if it even can be.
