A: Hi LW, Yes — our HG Shampoo is gentle enough to be used daily, especially if you have an oily scalp or are working up a good sweat each day. It’s packed with ingredients that support scalp and hair health (like peppermint and rosemary), but it doesn’t contain harsh sulfates, so it won’t strip your hair. That said, if your hair tends to be on the drier or more fragile side, you might find using it every second day or a few times a week works better to avoid over-cleansing. thank you,

While we believe our products are safe to use, we always recommend sharing the ingredient list with your medical professional to get the all-clear – especially if you're breastfeeding or postpartum. I have fine, straight hair which is thinning a bit due to hormonal changes. I used this shampoo and conditioner for about two months (the conditioner only on the ends), but wish I'd never bought either product. Initially, I thought maybe the smaller hairs on my hairline were new growth, but in actuality I was losing more hair each day. In addition, the shampoo left some sort of coating on my hair, which canceled out the thickening effects of the Bumble and Bumble Thickening spray I've used (and loved) for years. Every time I used the Bumble and Bumble Thickening spray after this shampoo, my hair was sticky and flat! I've never had that happen with any other shampoo I've used before the thickening spray. The conditioner was useless. I had tangles and snarled hair like never before. I got rid of both products and purchased the Bumble and Bumble Thickening shampoo and conditioner.

I just finished my second bottle of this product and I can say with certainty I will not be purchasing another. I bought this product as it is marketed towards those with thinning hair and I saw many reviews raving over hair growth/fullness and how it left people's hair feeling clean enough that they could extend time between washes. For reference, my hair is thin, straight, color treated (demi color), my roots gets oily very fast (one day after wash) while my ends tend to be a bit drier. I feel like i shed SO MUCH hair using this product, especially when washing my hair. At first i thought it was a shedding phase, but since switching shampoos i know it was also this product. Due to my oily scalp, double shampooing is something i am used to and have done for a long time. That being said, with this product i felt like i had to wash up to 3 times to really feel clean. Even worse, i felt like my hair couldnt even go a day without looking oily again. Overall, for the price combined with the increase in shedding and making my roots oily faster than any other shampoo ive tried, im not impressed and wont be purchasing again.

I have been looking for clean ingredients conditioner and shampoo. Unfortunately, the smell wasnt too great and takes me 4-5 pumps to actually lather into my hair. I had experienced some hair loss and looking for something to help but this product made me loss more hair.

My skin has been on a good streak for a while now and all the sudden my face broke out like crazy & i thiught possibly could be hormonal acne. But then it was also my back and butt. I was sooo confused until i put two and two together and around the same time i started using this it all happened. Past 2 showers have been back to my old attitude brand and skin is slowly calning back down. Wow Not to mention the smell isn't great and shampoo hardly even foam up.

I have chronic TE. Thin hair that has been doing well with Minoxidil and my Superhero shampoo and conditioner bars. They closed and I wanted to find another option for thin hair. This shampoo does not lather at all. I have been using it and worried that possibly this was not doing its job.I bought it 4/14 and now as of 6/2 I have so much hair fall it is insane. I finally threw the shampoo and conditioner out. I cannot even run my hand through my hair without so many strands coming out. I barely touch my hair and it is shedding. I am at a loss since I purchased this to help with thinning hair. I realize now SO MANY reviews are incentivized. I wish I never purchased this. The conditioner has zero moisture and my hair is in tangles after every wash. I never write reviews but this shampoo and conditioner will have my trying to restore my hair for years.

Did the formula change? I repurchased but this time around i noticed SO much hair loss in my shower drain, in my hairbrush, and just falling out mostly after showering!!! I thought this was supposed to help with thinning not cause it! Also, ive developed an itchy scalp & irritated skin with use! I switched back to a drugstore shampoo and it all went away. Would not recommend!!!!
