Bionaturae Organic Sourdough Pasta Fusilli - 12oz

I was really intrigued to try Bionaturae Organic Sourdough Pasta Fusilli since I already enjoy sourdough foods and often use discard in my own baking. It sounded like a unique twist on a pantry staple. When I first cooked it to al dente, the texture felt a bit off compared to traditional pasta. It was not unpleasant, just different in a way that took some getting used to. After cooking it a bit longer, the texture became more familiar and closer to what I expect from regular pasta. The flavor is definitely unique, with that subtle sourdough tang coming through. I did end up finishing my meal, so it was enjoyable enough, but I am still undecided on whether I truly loved it. It feels like one of those products that people will either really enjoy or not quite connect with. Overall, I am glad I tried it for the experience, but I am not sure I would go out of my way to purchase it again.

This pasta has an amazing unique taste. I replaced it in my chicken noodle soup dish, and it was perfect.

This line of products has a bit of a tang that varies (as good sourdough usually does), which is wonderful for some but not for others. Depending on what you add to your pasta, the tanginess may or may not be noticeable. If you add spices and good amount of ground beef sauce, it won't be noticeable but in a cold pasta, you'll taste the tanginess. I will continue to buy it for its "health" benefits over basic pasta and change it up with bionaurae's whole wheat line.

This pasta was very good and worked well for some family members with digestive health conditions too!

Delicious product, great sourdough flavor. You do have to be mindful about that sourdough-y ness when selecting a recipe to cook this with. I enjoy it with a light cream or cheese sauce that complements it. I will keep buying this to occasionally mix-up my pasta.

These noodles are almost inedible. They have the consitency of gluten free noodles - mushy and chalky at the same time. The sourdough taste is way too strong as it stings the throat, which somehow only slightly masks the taste of mold.

I wasnt expecting to really experience the true sourdough flavor. What a pleasant surprise! If you love sourdough you MUST try this pasta.

Truly unique and tastes just like a piece of Sourdough bread! I enjoyed with butter and will definitely be buying again!
