Balta Rugs 5'3"x7' Mackie Checkered Teen Shag Rug Orange

So for $80 I think this is a great little rug. It’s soft, shaggy, and colors look exactly as they do in the stock photos. I probably wouldn’t put it in a high traffic area but it’s going in my son’s room. I think it’s fun!

Cute, but sooooo cheap. It’s taken weeks to try and get it to sit flat because the backing is so cheap and bent from shipping.

Not exactly what I expected as far as material, I should have read material description. But after I vacuumed it fluffed out more. My son seems to like it. Fine for the price I paid.

This rug is way softer than I expected—super cozy, not itchy at all, and comfortable enough to lay on without feeling like you’re on weird plastic fuzz. It’s not thick like a tufted rug, but it’s got that perfect shaggy texture that makes the space feel warm and with personality. The color matched the photos really well and gave my room the exact pop of personality I was going for. It doesn’t shed and it stays in place—no annoying rug slipping happening here. The only thing I’d flag is the chemical smell when it first comes out of the packaging. I’d recommend airing it out or giving it a light shampoo before putting it in a closed-off space. Once that fades, it’s perfect. Definitely recommend if you want something fun, soft, and vibe-boosting.

Nice rug! Quality is good and it’s pretty soft. Goes perfectly in my son’s room.
