Upgrade from my last desk
This desk is definitely an upgrade from my last desk. I like the quality, much better than cheaper options you can buy on Amazon made of metal and particleboard. Some of the wood is slightly differently colored, but once the desk is put together it's not noticible. The desk was definitely more involved to put together than other plank+beam furniture I've purchased (coffee table, side table, console table), but still straightforward and easy. I would definitely recommend this desk.

Nice Desk For The Money
This desk is nice for the money. It was easy and straightforward to assemble but did require a bit of finessing/fine tuning to get some fitments a bit tighter. The desk is lightweight and slides easily on hardwood floors, so I might need a rug under it. My desk was damaged during delivery by the shipping company. The box was heavily damaged and the desk top had a couple of small dents and a good scratch. They worked with me to get me a refund we both agreed on since the damage was light and I didn't want to send it back or get a new replacement top. Overall this is nice desk that should last for a few years. I would say longer but being made out of soft wood, only time will tell. Definitely a great option if don't live near an IKEA.

Desk is smaller than was promised, nice color, just don't buy this if you're looking for a 55' desk because it isn't a desk for anything other than writing or something simple.

This desk is absolutely wonderful quality. The wood is real not particleboard. It’s heavy and solid. I absolutely love Plank & Beam you will not be disappointed. I have so far ordered four different items from this company and all of them have been excellent quality. I usually do not even write reviews, but I have to commend them.

I got the espresso color
I got the espresso color and it was a little darker than I thought it was going to be, but still a beautiful color. The instructions were easy and everything was labeled with a little sticker. The desk looks great and definitely wasn’t made out of plywood or any artificial wood. Also it shipped in a decent amount of time, probably took about maybe a week and a half.

The desk is very solid
The desk is very solid and has a great finish. Mine came with a soft gouge/ in the desktop, sort of dead center unfortunately, which appears to have happened during shipping as the box had a mirror hole punched through it. For all the padding, the table top was facing outward with only a thin film which seemed odd given the padding of all the other parts. It’s not enough to bother with returning as it’s still a solid table, and I’ll no doubt ding it up overtime, just a bummer for the otherwise strong quality. The stickers were hard to remove by hand but a wet sponge will loosen then and some scrubbing will get the glue. Overall would recommend, especially if they tabletop had some padding added, or just flipped over for shipping.

Love it!
Loved it! A great and sturdy desk! Love the simplistic natural look and it was fairly easy to put together (I’m a 22 y/o girl and put it together by myself). Only slight issue was there was one step that ideally you need a power tool for, as you have to drive 4 screws into the wood (not sure if there were supposed to be premade holes but there were not) however I had an electric screwdriver that did the trick easily with a little force! Overall like 9.5/10 stars!

I got the classic twin over twin bunk, two classic 6 drawer dressers, and the desk. I couldn’t be more pleased. The dresser drawer bottoms are solid wood and the drawers are deep enough to actually hold clothes not just when they’re 6 and 8 years old but also the rest of their childhood. The bunk bed is sturdy and simple and stylish. It took an entire day for my boyfriend and I to assemble all 4 pieces of furniture with little trouble. We watched a whole season of How I Met Your Mother and just went for it! Thanks for great solid wood affordable furniture!
