Iconic
If you know, you know—the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence is iconic, but finding this massive 2-piece kit with the 120g pouches is like striking gold! I grabbed this set because I go through the standard tiny tubes way too fast, and the value here is insane. Unlike the "Gel" version we talked about, this Essence comes out as a slightly yellowish, lightweight cream that literally bursts into water the second you massage it in. It has that signature fresh citrus scent, but I have to be real: the alcohol smell is strong initially. However, that’s exactly why it dries down so fast without feeling heavy or suffocating my pores. The finish is where this stuff earns its holy grail status. It absorbs completely clear—zero white cast, even on deeper skin tones—which makes it the perfect primer under makeup. It leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and plump thanks to the hyaluronic acid, almost like I just put on a light moisturizer rather than a high-protection sunscreen. But a heads-up for my sensitive skin girlies: because of the high alcohol content, it can be a little stinging around the eyes or drying if your barrier is compromised. For a daily commuter sunscreen that feels like nothing, this is a solid 5/5, and these huge pouches mean I won't run out for months!
