honestly, i would recommend buying right from velvet caviar’s website. i’m not sure if what target is selling is some cheap version, but i’ve had this case for a month, and the design is chipping off and it’s browning so bad. i’ve never had a phone case look this terrible. i’ve purchased directly from velvet caviar before and i’ve never had this issue. super disappointing since the case was $40.

However, since I bought a Velvet Caviar case for my Iphone SE 5 years ago, I never needed a new one. The color was great and the case lasts forever, despite me dropping it ALL the time. When I “upgraded” to a Iphone 14, I just bought the same design for the case. I recommend a ring holder on the back since it is a little slick but it is a little more grippy than the SE case was. I think I should have a camera cover, too, but it has been ok so far. I just don’t recommend dropping it on a frozen lake since the color makes it hard to see but now I use a tether when ice fishing so I don’t lose it.
