Good but not the optimum Nature's Path variety
I enjoyed this but it isn't my favorite. I could do without the puffed rice maybe. It's just a lot going on for one variety whereas I prefer simple flakes.

Optimal morning breakfast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If my memory serves me rightly I have been eating optimum since the turn of the century. I had been looking for an organic cereal and I like blueberries and cinnamon so I gave it a try. I liked it very much and it has been my morning breakfast ever since that first tasting. It’s my way of starting the day. Though I did find out it was far too crunchy if you eat immediately after putting the milk in the bowl. So I experimented with letting it sit for 10 or 15 minutes before I began to eat it and that works just fine for me. Thank you very much I have enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it hopefully for years to come

I didn't know cereal could taste this bad!
I don't often buy cereal, but when I was looking for something today, I thought Nature's Path was a good choice. I only wanted a small box so I chose something. I'd never tried before optimum power blueberry cinnamon flax. Yuck. It's bitter and horrible. Why would a cereal be this bitter? So disappointing.

Nothing Beats Optimum Power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed Optimum Power since I discovered it a long, long time. It had the protein and fiber that I was looking for and the taste is just right. It had the right crunch and with a little addition of dried cranberries it is perfect with milk. I also enjoy it right from the box as a snack. Believe me , when you stopped making it for a while, I tried many other cereals without success.

I'm Back!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the cereal I used to get all of the time before Chocolate Peanut Butter Love Crunch cereal, which is, sadly, no longer made. I switched back to it and remember why I liked it so much. Great flavor and gives me a lot of energy for the day. I love the texture also. This is the first time I ordered it directly from Nature's Path, and that makes it super easy to buy in bulk. It used to be hard to find in local stores. I have been startung my day with your Optimum Power Blueberry Cinnamon Flax for 23 years. I live in Surrey, BC, Canada & have bought it at 2 stores, Save-on-Foods in New Westminster & now Surrey at First Canadian Superstore. It is just delicious. I am a diabetic type 2, 34 yrs now & your cereal is included in a great breakfast for me by my diabetic specialist. My lasted blood sugar rest was 6. 0; normal blood sugar is 5. 5. So I add a layer of raw pumpkin, layer of whole walnuts & a layer of fresh blueberries to a bowl of cereal. No other breakfast has ever filled me up & kept me comfortably full until lunch. So I thank you sincerely, from a 66 yr old retiree, with a dog who thinks she should share all my meals?? she really would love to share my breakfast. . .
