[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been using the Murad Superactive Moisturizer SPF 50 and it's one of those products that makes your routine feel complete without adding extra steps. I love that it's a true 3-in-1. It hydrates, brightens, and protects my skin all at once. The texture is lightweight and smooth, not greasy, and it layers beautifully under makeup. My skin looks more awake and radiant thanks to the vitamin C, and I appreciate knowing I'm getting SPF 50 protection without that heavy sunscreen feel or smell. This is perfect for everyday wear, especially if you want brighter-looking skin while keeping things simple. It's been an easy reach for me and fits perfectly into a real-life, on-the-go routine.

Used the old formula for years— this one does not compare. Not as light and hydrating. Also the new packaging is annoying with the pump— very difficult to get all the product out towards the end and to know when you're running low.

I have used the essential C with SPF facial moisturizer in the past and loved it. It made my skin brighter and more hydrated while protecting from the sun. But this product was not remotely like the product I used to use. This has never happened before with any product. It caused me to have a severe allergic reaction in which my face to turn extremely red, hot to the touch, splotchy, and burn really badly. I developed welts under my chin and on the sides on my face. It took a full 24 hours of washing my face for the pain to start going away.

I developed hives on my neck and my face became swollen after using this.

it is indeed a great sun screen but it can dry out our skin. I use a moisturizer and then layer the Murad on top. I don't mind the step. Keeps my skin from drying out.

It is very convenient with the pump ensuring that the perfect amount of product is used liberally across the face, neck, and chest. The smell of it is not too much either. Great for sensitive skin as well.

I use Murad daily with SPF 30. Decided to try this with SPF 50 but it's thick & caused me to break out. Bummer

The new formula breaks my face out! I have used the prior formula for years and I am so disappointed with this change. I never had any issues with the prior formula and this one keeps breaking my face out. Very, very disappointed.

Schools out and so is the sun! Protecting your skin is the best action you can take to avoid wrinkles and sun spots. I am no stranger to the Murad skin care brand, and have used their 30 SPF moisturizer before. But this is their new 50 SPF Brightening formula with stabilized vitamin C (this just means the ascorbic acid won't degrade or oxidize as easily, keeping your product safe and effective🤝) First of all it gives a beautiful glow to wear on it's own, but dries down enough to be a good base for foundation. I've been wearing it every day during pickleball, and although I'm a sweaty mess, it hasn't dripped into my eyes at all. We all know how terrible sunscreen burns your eyes!! It's very smoothing, has a great texture and light citrus scent. I honestly have no notes! 5/5 would recommend 👍 (I got this for free from @influenster in exchange for my honest opinion)
