This dresser is beautiful and fairly easy to put together. I'm pretty slow but it wasn't difficult. That being said, I also experienced the issue of the top drawer not aligning properly. The right side of the drawer was slightly too huggy to allow the drawer to fully close. It was an easy remedy by unscrewing the front three screws of the drawer track on the right side, lowering about 1/4inch and rescrewing on. The drawer glided in perfectly after that and I have a beautiful and solid looking and feeling dresser for our guest room now. Definitely recommend for the price point!

Terrible Service if sent to you broken
Sent me the dresser and the top drawer did not shut. Asked for a new part. They took 10 days to tell me that they didn’t want to send me the part and wanted me to return it and order a new one. So 18 days after I ordered it i am having to return it. They only offered me 5% off next purchase.

Faulty and frustrating
Drawers are not functional. The top drawer will not close due to faulty manufacturing. The drawers have locking mechanisms that only allow one drawer to be opened at a time; that, combined with the faulty top drawer, mean that none of the drawers are usable. After spending several hours assembling to discover the faulty manufacturing has been incredibly frustrating. After reading reviews, issues with the top drawer appear to be commonplace. I wish I would have read reviews more thoroughly before spending my time and money on this piece.

Beautiful, but poorly designed
I bought two of these vertical dressers and deeply regret the high price. The "safety" mechanism constantly jams, locking the other drawers and making them a nightmare to open. They frequently fall off the tracks, which has already scratched the finish. I will never buy Hearth & Hand furniture again.

Missing instructions
I have talked to several people in customer service regarding not receiving assembly instructions for this dresser. NO one has been able to help me at all. The dresser looks beautiful, but I cannot put it together without assembly instructions. It has been over a week of no answers. How frustrating.

These are gorgeous! Assembly does take a bit of time, but overall lovely! I purchased two dressers to be nightstands next to the bed, they work fabulous. I took a star off because one of the drawers didn’t close properly, granted it could be because we assembled it ourselves. I also got these on a great sale!

Poor drawer system
For the price I was impressed with the real wood frame and top. It's nice and heavy. The drawers are very IKEA like, which is fine, however there is a major system malfunction with their drawer system. They lock and only one drawer can open at time, which is a nice safety feature, however the top drawer is slightly shorter and the latch can't completely close without force. Super disappointing. I guess I'll try to remove the drawer lock system. I wouldn't even buy this for $50.

Would not buy. Ordered product and box arrived damaged as well as some pieces of dresser. Dresser also missing instructions and after four phone calls to customer service, I am not receiving any help nor instructions. Target claims manufacturer has it but I called Magnolia directly and they claim target should have all instructions as it is a Target specific item and line. Basically I now have a close to 300.00 dresser I cannot do anythig with as I have no instructions and damaged pieces.

Love these nightstands! Instructions were pretty easy to follow. It took me about to 2 hours to put one together (keep in mind I’m also pregnant). I feel like I would’ve done these a lot faster if I was. High quality for the price! And stunning! Hard to find this exact oaky wood color in nightstands without paying a hefty price.

while the dresser looks nice it is not functional. the drawers are problematic with closing all the way as they get stuck and it's designed to lock the other drawers while one is opened. so now our clothes are trapped as one drawer won't close completely. waste of money and time assembling only to return it.
