I was blown away from the first time I turned this dryer on. I was not expecting the power and blew items right off of my bathroom counter with my test run. It is not nearly as loud as some bad reviews would have you believe, and its power is worth the noise it does make. The frizz fighter attachment is a game changer! I believe that the feature is UNDERsold by Shark. It should have the word “magic” in the name. The attachment essentially makes the dryer a flat iron, except so much better because it magically connects to the hair and lifts it against the metal- you don’t have to press at all. Other dryers attachments and buttons at first glance look hard to figure out. But, whoever designed the packaging and sticker labels should win an award. When unpacking the dryer each question you have is answered before you can finish your thought. The instruction stickers are expertly placed, and I didn’t even need to watch a video to figure out how to operate the dryer.

I have been using the Babyliss Portofino dryer for the last 6 years or so until it finally died on me. I purchased this dryer to try something new, and it does have some pros, but unfortunately, I don't feel like it's worth the price tag. Pros: it's lightweight and it dries quickly Cons: The high-pitched noise it makes while drying is not pleasant. The attachments aren't easy to use. The cord is huge and awkward which makes the fact that it's lightweight kind of useless. It doesn't seem to give me less frizz or any different results from my old dryer.

If you are thinking of making an investment on a hair dryer, this is the one! Bonus because it is on sale and brings different attachments that you can use. Its easy to bring on vacay,for the curly girls on the go. This prodcut has seriously made my like easier and as a curly girl it is a must for diffusing without frizz.

My hair looks frizzier and dryer than ever before after using this dryer. I can’t believe there’s any hype associated with this product. It does absolutely nothing except crisp up your hair and leave it looking dull and lifeless. Will never purchase a Shark product again.

I have dense, course, curly hair and my biggest challenge has always been maintaning my hair week to week, so much so that I've big chopped 3 times in 4 years (currently shoulder legnth ans growing). This has changed everything. From wet to dry in 15-20 minutes EVERY time! If you are wanting to try something that will be turn your hair routine upside down, THIS. I wash my hair once a week and it only takes an hour start to finish!

I brought this dryer for one attachment only ...the speed style pro lift and stretch comb of course that attachment is not included in the bundle that I purchased but I was ok with purchasing it separately UNFORTUNATELY the attachment has been sold out since I bought the dryer I have looked for it everywhere on line and has been unsuccessful. I have also called shark and spoke to someone and he had no answers as to when it will return and directed to to search online at other sites I would not have brought this product id I knew I couldn't get what I really wanted

I love that this dryer folds, comes with tools, has a long cord, and is lightweight but it made my frizzy hair frizzier. My hair also felt like straw after drying. I ended up returning it and going back to my $40 dryer.

My husband bought this hair dryer for my birthday, and don't get me wrong, the quality is good, but certainly not worthy it. It is super loud!! It got to a point that I had to use it while using ear plugs because my ears would hurt. I'm returning this one and maybe try the FlexStyle. Hope this helps!

When I was testing this dryer out, I plugged it in and after 2 seconds it just turns off, flashing the 3 red lights indicating it's overheating. it's not even on long enough to overheat, literally 2 seconds and it automatically shuts itself off. for a $200+ dryer, by Shark, I expected better. I love their vacuums so I was excited to try this blowdryer. it's not even on long enough to use at all. I'm going to try to exchange it because I can see it's powerful, I just need it to stay on longer than 2 seconds. ugh! tiktok has videos showing that this is a very very common issue. my $20-$100 dryers have never given out, even after years of use.

First, the return process at Ulta was excellent. I bought this hairdryer recently and the very first time I used it, I had an issue with the power cutting out. Unit would not stay on. Clearly a defect with a sensor or power.

I bought this hairdryer at a well known retailer. I purchased it because it looked versatile and less bulky than my current (aging) hairdryer. It work for about 20 seconds then it cut out. Tried it again, and it shut off after just a few seconds. I tried different outlets and still would not stay on. This seems to have some sort of faulty sensor that triggers a safety shut off. I returned the unit without any hassle. Because this seems to be a widespread problem, I did not try to get an exchange.
