  • A: I just purchased this and am returning it. I think it's heavy compared to the other hair dryers I've had. I still have two old hair dryers here and yesterday tried using the old ones first hoping they wouldn't die as I was using them, but the motors sound awful and they smell when the great of on, so I had to finish drying my hair with the new one. I think it does a nice job making my hair smooth when using the concentrator. The reason I'm returning it is I don't like the buttons on the side. The last many years my hair dryers have had the rocking buttons on the front. And the handle seems short and not ergonomic so it's a bit awkward. I did try the thermal diffuser and truly do not understand the point. It felt like if I got too close to my hair, it works get get tangled in the metal teeth. So I didn't think it concentrated the air enough to do as good of a job as the plain concentrator did the next day. Even if I wanted to keep this unit, all the extra attachments feel wasteful. Though I liked that they had tabs molded into them. I'm guessing that means they'd be easier to swap out mid dryering if I wanted to change them and not burn my hand or have to wait to long for them to cook to touch them in the middle of setting my hair. I didn't try that though.

    Big Blow But No Go

    This dryer has a lot of power but no heat. I can blow it directly on my hand, and it never gets hot enough to make me pull away. I understand companies want to protect your hair from heat, but I want far more heat than this offers. Also, putting the attachments on and taking them off is extremely hard. They snap on too tightly. Returning.

    Dryer cracked at nozzle area.

    As others have said, got a hairline crack at the opening where the air came out and now the diffuser will no longer stay on. I have had many dryers over the years, many from Conair and this is the first time I have ever had this issue. Most of them burn up or stop blowing hot air before anything like this would EVER happen! Conair what is up?

    I just bought it, and I haven't actually used it yet. Although, I was looking at the attachments and I attached one to the hair dryer and when I tried to take it off, it was extremely hard. I'm not sure if it was maybe just the way I was attempting to remove it, or if others have also had the same experience.

    Not worth a penny

    I’ve had this dryer for not even a year and around the 7th month, it blows out cool air. The buttons must be properly designed because sometimes the dryer will cut on and off by itself.

    Waste of money - Attachments won't stay on!

    The attachments won't stay on, so you are constantly reattaching and trying to blow-dry your hair.

    It doesn't preform like they say it will.

    I like the color and the idea. I have curly hair and I will tell you it doesn't perform very well. It only has two speeds and both are strong. The attachment to help straighten your hair doesn't do a good enough job. I still have to take a flatiron to it. The diffuser blows to strongly through it and causes my hair to frizz. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

    Thumbs down

    I had this for a year or two(?) but I usually let my hair air dry so I wouldn’t say I even use it weekly… anyway, the off button got stuck I guess and therefore wouldn’t turn off. So I had to just plug/unplug which is annoying so I bought a new one. It held up long enough that I can’t return it.

    I am a hairstylist of 20 years and I’ve used A LOT of hairdryers including a Dyson that I had. This one I bought for myself to use at home. Tired of spending hundreds on professional dryers that die too quickly. It is POWERFUL. When I turned it on I blew the hair on my husband’s head from across the room.     Comb attachment not for 4c hair. Teeth on comb attachment are flimsy plastic and keeps falling off when trying to comb thru. Broke 2 of the teeth already. Didn't last one month8 . Dries hair quickly and diffuser is great for setting hairstyles. But it's a no.
