Q: both high and low settings are exactly the same, speed and heat wise. returned it for another one and it was the same-high and low settings were the same, no difference at all. is that normal???

CURLY THICK HAIR GIRLIES RUNNNN!!! This had made my blow dry time go from 1hr to 15-20 min! I was scared when I first got this that it wouldn’t be hot enough but girlllll yes ma’am! The only negative thing I would say is that the back of the brush and closer towards the middle of the brush gets crazy hot! So I recommend leaving it out before you put it away!

This blow dryer is absolutely perfect! I will be honest, the reviews I read had me worried at first. But there was one review by username Target Mama that eased my concerns and actually made me reconsider purchasing. Thank goodness I did!!! My daughter and her daughter have the same hair type per her pics and description and her hair came out wonderfully! I also appreciate the fact that she included the products she used in her daughter's hair (the leave in conditioner and the heat protection spray). This dryer is seriously lacking in power. It takes me twice as long to get my hair dry, and does not leave in a true “blowout” condition. It is marketed as being good for ethnic hair…in theory, it is, but the lack of sufficient air pressure / heat leaves me needing an additional product for my 4c hair to be dry and straight.
