  • A: On the outside of the difuser near the widest part, there is a ring of dark navy blue with bumps on it that you turn to either side to open or close the vents. Its very easy to move and at first just looks decorative. Hope this helps!

    Defuser falls off to easy and breaks.

    I purchased this hair dryer for the big deep defuser. Infact I purchased it 3 times. I need this defuser because of my curly hair but it doesn’t last very long. The grip that holds the defuser in place eventually wears down and it starts to fall off and then parts of the ring on the defuser breaks off when it hits the floor so it cannot stay attached to the dryer anymore. It would be great if you could just purchase the defuser instead of buying a whole new set.

    Great diffuser bowl depth.

    I loved that the diffuser bowl was large and deep. Especially if. you have long hair with curls. Also liked the flow adjustment to increase or decrease amount of air. The only problem I had with this is while drying, your fingers keep hitting the buttons and change your settings. Maybe flat slider buttons would be better.

    The description on the box is very deceiving It states "Chose Your Texture. The 2 in 1 diffuser delivers gentle, adjustable airflow for the perfect texture. The diffuser that I received does not have that option!

    Hair dryer is ok but the diffuser wont stay open.

    The diffuser will not stay open. When I move the hair dryer around, it closes, and then I have to constantly stop and try to open it back up. Very Disappointed since this was one of the main highlights for this hair dryer. Fix the issue on the diffuser or give us a replacement diffuser.

    Worth it

    I usually spend about $40 on a hair dryer but needed a new one and went for something with great reviews. This one does make your hair silky smooth. I’m so glad I bought it.

    Poorly made Diffuser breaks easily

    This dryer was a Christmas present because I wanted the diffuser, but the diffuser simply does not stay attached! It was very frustrating to have it pop off during the very first time using it. Needless to say, it broke immediately. I tried placing it back on the dryer only to have it pop off again and break even more. It is a faulty construction— just not made to stay attached. Totally worthless! From other reviewers, I’d say this product needs to be recalled!

    not a good diffuser attachment

    This is a ok hair dryer, but I hated the diffuser attachment. The adjustable part that’s supposed to “control” the type of curl is frustrating. It constantly turns on its own and closes the vent, which is meant for tighter curls. Not that it actually improves curl definition—but it does reduce the airflow significantly. The base/back of the diffuser is vented and lets so much air escape. Because of this, it takes significantly longer to dry my hair than with other diffusers I’ve used in the past. Also, depending on how I’m holding it, the hot air blows back toward the handle, causing my neck or hand to get uncomfortably hot. I don't get the design and don't understand how they didn't catch these flaws in testing/trial. This is a fine hair dryer if you don’t need to use the diffuser—which is ironic since it’s marketed toward curly hair. I do have naturally curly hair, and after trying to get used to it and giving it a fair chance for two months, I just couldn’t make it work. I ended up repurchasing my original dryer, the Conair InfinitiPro Salon Professional Hair Dryer, which I like much better. It has strong airflow, a diffuser I actually love, and a much more comfortable handle.

    Never Again

    I have now gone through 2 of these hair dryers. The original and its replacement in a 2 year span. 2nd Hair Dryer threw sparks from the handle before the circuit blew. It’s possibly time to find another brand if it can’t handle multiple uses a day.

    Poorly designed diffiser

    I have had this dryer for 1.5 years. Recently the prongs that attach the diffuser to the dryer broke. The connection system is quite flimsy so I knew it was only a matter of time. Do not recommend.

    Useless diffuser. I don't recommend this blow dryer.

    The diffuser is useless. As you can see, the diffuser is open all around, so the air escapes every where. A good diffuser will have holes in the teeth that protrude outward, so air passes up through the teeth and out the hole. This way your roots get dried. This diffuser has no holes in the teeth. The air just passes through the cup and escapes everywhere. It does not properly diffuse.

    Very disappointed

    Bought this months ago but now using it. Noticed that the diffuser doesn’t have vents or you can not twist it as it shows in the description /picture you have .. very disappointing !! Just saw someone else posted a review of same thing

    A good price. and separate wind speed and temp settings. that’s all I wanted. it’s a bit noisy, that’s not too bad. Also I can’t use any of the attachment due to tight space in my drawer. I like to set the temp to high, and wind to medium.
