I can’t really judge how well it helped with the break down of build up because I used another product from this collection to assist with that. I can’t say that it didn’t leave any noticeable residue and the packaging is durable.

I do typically double cleanse when washing my hair because I am buildup & dandruff prone. The last few wash days I’ve used this I didn’t feel the need to do a second cleanse. It rinses out easily. I’ve been pleasantly surprised that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stripped, dry & stringy with it being a dandruff shampoo. My hair feels soft, hydrated & my scalp feels refreshed. I’ve been using this with the rest of the Lavender & Lycee line & I’m obsessed with the results.
