Bugaboo Kangaroo Stroller Bassinet Fabric for Newborns - Forest Green

Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me this bassinet fabric to try in exchange for my honest review. I love versatility and easy storage since I live in the city and don’t have the option to store much. I love that the upper seat has the same frame for both the seat and the bassinet and that you just change out the fabrics as needed. While this model of course saves the storage and waste of having another completely separate seat, it also comes with having to change over the seat and disassemble and reassemble as needed. You don’t do this so often so I think it’s worth it but I have definitely struggled in doing this and wouldn’t enjoy doing it often. But all things said I still think it’s worth it to only have to put away the fabric and not a massive bassinet. In terms of the actual bassinet, my baby loves it and is very comfortable in it. She loves falling asleep in it on our walks and sometimes I even just take her for a walk so she’ll fall asleep easily. Highly recommended !! Great quality!

The look is sleek and modern, and the material feels high-quality and durable. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into both the design and functionality. My 4 month old seems very comfortable in the bassinet and has fallen asleep during nearly all of our walks. I especially appreciate the aerated mattress and the reversible summer/winter sides. Living in a warmer climate, the breathable summer side helped keep my baby cool, while it’s nice knowing the warmer side will be useful in cooler weather. The breezy mesh panels are a great feature, allowing for airflow and making it easy to check on my baby during strolls. The sun canopy also provides a good amount of coverage—we use it on every walk, and it offers plenty of shade on sunny days. One of my favorite features is using the bassinet in the top position with the sibling seat below in double mode. As a mom of a 4 month old and a 2 year old I love having my younger baby close and within view at all times, while my two year old enjoys being in the front seat and looking out. My only downside was the initial setup of the bassinet. I found it somewhat difficult, frustrating, and not very intuitive. However, once everything was assembled, the bassinet has been a joy to use, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it ever since. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bassinet to other parents—it’s a high-quality, well-designed product that makes daily walks more enjoyable for both baby and parent.

I really like this bassinet the design is what stood out to me. It looks really cool, as a girl dad I like when products look like this. It almost has a futuristic look, kind of like a sleeping pod for baby. She slept like a log in the bassinet never once did we see her moving around or get comfortable. I think it was because the mattress is aerated it allowed her to stay comfortable. We live in south Florida so her overheating was a concern but this mattress proved us wrong. The mesh panel allowed for great air flow while the canopy kept her protected from the sun. We loved the configuration sometimes we had her close to us on top which was great to be able to keep an eye on her. Thanks to Stellar Product testing for the everything.

The Bugaboo Kangaroo Newborn Bassinet Fabric from Bugaboo feels incredibly high-end and well made. I really like that it uses the same frame as the toddler seat, which makes it much less bulky to store and a more streamlined option overall. It’s also very spacious — my baby has plenty of room to grow, which I can see being a big plus for longer use. That said, I did find the setup challenging. Like other Bugaboo products, the instructions weren’t very helpful, and the fabric was so tight that it was difficult to assemble on my own. Overall, it’s a beautiful, premium bassinet option that’s spacious and thoughtfully designed, but the setup process could be more user-friendly. The bassinet is thoughtfully designed and practical. Especially for a growing family like ours. We love how easy it is to attach the fabric and remove it. Which makes transitioning between setups quick and stress-free. Overall the bassinet has a clean, modern design that matches the aesthetic of the stroller. The fabrics and materials used are high quality and built to last. The overall feel is sturdy, yet soft, creating a cozy, secure environment that’s perfect for our son. As a mom of five kiddos with my youngest two being 2 months old, I'm often looking for a comfy and practical solution for keeping my babies comfortable on outings and the Bugaboo Kangaroo Newborn Bassinet totally fits the bill! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller accessory, after testing it out on multiple outings I've learned a number of things: Initial setup is a pain, the hassle of having to take apart the stroller seat anytime you need to use the bassinet, but completely take it apart again to use the child seat is something I'm not a fan of. I'd much rather it be a completed separate attachment that can just snap and go- instead of it using the same frame as the initial seat that comes with the stroller. Oftentimes it's hard to find the time to slow down and put this attachment together especially juggling holding a little one. So I will say the assembly of the bassinet itself and lack of convenience knocked a star off for me. Now onto the pros: Assembly aside, the bassinet itself is aesthetically a great looking accessory, with thick durable fabric that definitely has a quality feel to it. One of my favorite features was the breathable mesh on the lower section of the bassinet giving my baby the perfect amount of airflow on those hotter days. The canopy pairs perfectly on this attachment giving an incredible amount of shade as baby lays down and that is something I appreciate especially when it comes to long zoo outings where baby is napping in for longer periods. The mattress insert is perfect! It's just thick enough that it gives baby the perfect amount of cushion, and with the option to flip it over for the mesh aerated side to keep baby cooler- I found that my baby loved this. The insert kept my baby comfy from zoo trips to afternoons at the park and no fussiness, even on different terrains it was thick enough that my little one didn't feel any bumps and continued to nap peacefully (which is always a huge win at the newborn stage!). The bassinet also has a zip feature over the top that I actually liked more than I expected, plus I feel that it gives the fabric a clean modern look instead of being open and exposed it allows you to cover baby which I felt was nice. I have to say my absolute favorite thing about this item was the ability to have my baby closer to me while pushing the stroller. That was something that was extremely important to me to be able to do with this stroller so this quality bassinet allowing for that with the adapter completely sold me on it. Overall the size and depth of the bassinet is great, fabric quality is outstanding and not flimsy or cheap at all, and sun coverage allows for baby to be completely shaded, the insert is comfy but also versatile with the option to use the other sided material, and overall felt premium in every way. The only caveat was putting the bassinet together initially, with the plastic parts being a bit more delicate than the rest of the attachment, and some of the holes of the fabric being hard to slip into place- it was definitely more time consuming than I expected. The upside being that the fabric is completely removable which is perfect for washing is a plus though. We really liked this product and have recommend it to others with newborn/infant range kiddos. Comfortable, durable, and quality throughout- this bassinet fabric attachment is amazing!

The design is really clean and simple, but still looks high-end. It feels well-made without being bulky, which I like for everyday use. My baby seems very comfortable in it. The aerated mattress is a great feature it feels breathable and supportive, and I especially liked the reversible summer/winter sides depending on the weather. The mesh panels provide really good airflow, which is important in the heat, and the sun canopy gave plenty of coverage during walks. I didn’t feel like I had to constantly adjust it to keep the sun off. We’ve used it both on walks and for errands, and having the bassinet up top (with another seat below) made things a lot easier. It’s nice being able to keep my newborn close and within view. Overall, it’s comfortable, practical, and works really well for everyday outings.

The Bugaboo Kangaroo Newborn Bassinet Fabric has been a life saver on my daily walks with my pup and daughter. I have absolutely loved being able to use a bassinet for my daughter on walks so she is able to lay flat instead of being confined to a car seat. A few of my favorite features include the following: - Quality – as with any Bugaboo product, you can feel the quality of the fabric and components. They clearly devoted the time necessary to make a high-end product. - Reversable Mattress – I would never have thought to create a mattress that’s reversable for summer/winter but Bugaboo sure did, and I absolutely love this feature. Living in Michigan, we are currently flip flopping between 40 degree days to 70 degree days and I can easily flip the mattress over to improve my daughter’s comfort no matter what the weather. This is such a unique an interesting feature that I’d like to give Bugaboo props for thinking of. - Breezy Panels – I’m in love with this feature – I’m able to fully extend the sunshade to avoid sun exposure but still be ensured that my daughter is safe and comfortable with the breezy panels. You simply lift them up on your stroll and your little one stays comfortable and protected from the sun. - Top or Bottom Configuration – I loved that this bassinet could be placed on the top of the stroller while in double mode which allowed my youngest to be closest to me and my toddler to remain world facing. I do have one nitpicky item that I wanted to point out. Since it hasn’t impacted our use of the product, I haven’t changed my rating for it, but I want others to be aware of in the event that impacts your decision. In our case, this involves the travelability with the bassinet. It does not easily collapse which means we prefer to put it in the trunk of our car as is thus the whole stroller system takes up the bulk of our Honda CRV’s trunk. Ultimately, this is an amazing addition to the Bugaboo Kangaroo and I owe a big thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller accessory.

The bassinet attachment is a great little luxury to give your little one in those first few weeks of life. I really appreciated how breathable the mattress is- he enjoys getting pushed around the neighborhood and easily snoozes in it on our walks because its firm yet soft. It has a front cover that can be removed depending on how much coverage or not you want. I liked that I could use it on my bugaboo stroller on it's own or in double mode when my older kid wanted to come with. I also appreciate that the fabric is easy to take off and wash if you need to!
